Nationwide, 28.3 gallons of beer a year were consumed for every American of legal age.

Many residents from nearby states purchase booze there to avoid high taxes. A certain state that loves the Kennedys, especially.

I’m originally from Delaware. We used to have to hit PA or MD to get any beer on Sunday. Beer is only sold in liquor stores as well, no gas stations or supermarkets.

I brew more than 50 gallons per year, but unfortunately I have a hard time drinking it all. Beer is such a wonderful beverage, though, doing without it is inconceivable.

I live in Dover, and I fondly remember my daughter and me driving to Marydel on a Sunday to get beer when we'd run out on a weekend. The trip was half the fun.

Give a man a beer and he's got a buzz for an hour. Teach a man to brew, and he's drunk for a lifetime.
