One observation about New Hampshire is probably true, a very large fraction of the beer purchased in New Hampshire is consumed in the state bordering it to the south.

As are the majority of the TV's,computers,watches,iPods,tires (remember tires?)...

New Hampshire - Live Free or Die...or Drunk.

No kidding...the book listing weekly AA meetings in this state reminds me of a phone directory. Those 'K-Mart size' liquor stores at interstate rest areas keep the booze flowing (although they don't sell beer).
