I just got behind some idiot with an EBT card buying grape drank a candy bar and 2 packs of smokes.
I was waiting for like 5 mins.
Over the summer I got behind a woman using EBT to buy 8-10 large cans of powdered baby formula. She had one baby in arms and a small toddler sitting in the cart.
I heard tongue clicking and deep sighs behind me, but I stuck it out and watched the transaction for the 10 minutes it took. It was profoundly sad watching this.
I’ve never seen a man with a women using EBT, it’s always a woman.
A while back I watched some woman in front of me in line buy two cases of Corona with a one hundred dollar bill. She paid for 6 limes with her LINK card.
The change from the beer purchase went back in her pocket.
I shouted “You’re welcome!” at her.
