That has to be one of the funniest videos I’ve seen in a while. What makes it good is that the “diver” himself saw the humor and couldn’t stop laughing. Very good.

Additionally, I have taken to saying "Mot de Cambronne!" when particularly irritated. It's completely inoffensive, even in French-- unless you know exactly what Cambronne said.

I’m pretty sure he thought that the ice was relatively thin, not rock hard and frozen solid.
He most probably has a sprained or broken coccyx (tip of the tailbone), and he’ll be very uncomfortable for a very long time.
I did not find that funny at all, for the pain of others does not amuse me.
However, I do understand the very human reaction of hysterical laughter to someone doing something so dingbat dumb.
