OJ Simpson kept the knife he used to kill his ex-wife and friend and is now planning on selling it for $5 million to a wealthy memorabilia collector, according to reports.
Almost 20 years after the brutal murder of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman in which the murder weapon was never found, claims have emerged that OJ - who is currently serving time for kidnapping and armed robbery - actually stashed the knife.
An insider told the National Enquirer: 'OJ wants the deal to be a well-kept secret. He's looking for a strictly cash deal so that the money can be deposited in offshore accounts and can't be traced directly to him.

Why would anyone buy a knife used to kill a person to start with and it is not worth a quarter without some kind of authentication. How will OJ authenticate it? Does it have Nicoles blood DNA on it? He could sell any knife and claim it was the murder weapon.
What good is it even with authentication if it has to be kept secret?

Statute of limitations on perjury? Yes. Except, I'm pretty sure that there is no statute of limitations on "accessory to murder after the fact," d#mb#ss.
At least make him swear this was the knife which killed two people.
The lawyers for the heirs of the two victims will be all over this.
Indeed. Where is his shame to leave this memento to his children. I can’t imagine a parent doing that, he must be insane now.
The prosecution were pure idiots for letting him try on the glove over a latex glove. All he would have to do would spread his fingers out a little and it would not fir.
Still there was enough evidence to convict him several times over.
Sickest part of the whole situation - who cares?
No matter what he says or signs, he can't be prosecuted for murder (double jeopardy). And the Goldman's have already sued. Basically he can come out and say almost anything related to that crime, and face no additional sanctions (unless some of the inmates decide to settle things themselves).
Pretty pathetic.
I wonder how much the Clintons would accept for the gun that killed Vince Foster.

I totally agree. That defense team had Clark and Darden jumping hoops. IF this story is true the person willing to give 5 million for a murder weapon ought to be put in jail but you can’t put a person in prison for being stupid and morally bankrupt....unfortunately. :(

I’m pretty sure this case can’t be retied, but couldn’t OJ be charged with things like obstruction of justice, tampering with evidence, and the like?
Do a search for the video of when the verdict was read. You can see Robert Kardashian’s face. That tells it all. His expression at that moment is full on guilt at what he’d done to get OJ off. He turns green and looks like he’s going to throw up.
OJ needs his annual attention fix.
Kardashian took the luggage home with him.

I’m also sure that any money he received would go to the families of the victims.
He should do it now before the election-I’m sure BO would pay for it with taxpayer/stimulus $$$ and display it in the Oval Office—another proud relic of African-American history......

I know there was testimony that luggage was seen by a garbage pail, but I always thought that Kardashian took the luggage. That's why Cochran added Kardashian to OJ's legal team, so that the luggage in Kardashian's possession would be protected by attorney-client priviledge.
I recall a discussion at the time that Kardashian was a family lawyer, not a criminal lawyer, so it was strange for him to be added to the legal team. The only logical reason that I concluded was that it was to protect what Kardashian knew.

I think the luggage by the trash can testimony was about OJ’s departure for Chicago. Bob was known as one of those Hollywood rarieties, a producer who was also a human being. I never understood how he got involved with OJ, except that the guy had a sociopath’s charm.
I have a friend who spent a lot of time with Simpson and saw all the sides of his personality. When the case broke, she said, “I really want to believe it’s not true, but I’m also afraid that it is”. Even with that knowledge, she didn’t want to write him off.
Well, I miss Marcia Clark and Mark Furman. Admit it, we’ll love seeing their plastic surgery on teevee 24/7. ;P
