..."To say this endorsement by The Tennessean is an eyebrow raiser is an understatement. This is the same newspaper where former Vice President Al Gore got his start in journalism, that endorsed Obama in 2008. Of course, the paper endorsed Gore in 2000. In 2004, the paper endorsed Democrat John Kerry over President Bush. Also, Middle Tennessee is a traditional Democratic stronghold.

WOW, I think there are a lot of soft-core democrats just LOOKING for an excuse to vote for Romney.
Algore destroys trees?
Well, considering that Algore couldn’t carry his own home state in 2000, which would have given him the win over Dubya, this endorsement isn’t surprising.
Makeup of the Democrat party in TN has some liberals, no doubt, but there still is a huge percent of Dems in TN who are conservative to moderate. Former TN Governor Bredeson has been critical of the national democratic party.
...yes.. you probably saw this but Algore turned down Bill and Hillary’s offer to campaign in Tenn. for him....big mistake..might have gotten him there...
Yeah well The Tennesean is as liberal as they come...
The editors recognize one of their own in Willard...
If Romney is so freaking liberal, he'd have 95% of the vote locked up, 'cuz he's already duped most of us conservatives and the liberals would just love him and all... /S Maybe you can single handedly give Tennessee to Obama with your Virgil Goode sign or whatever the hell your story is. 4 more years of Obama would be so great, right?
Oh I didnt know that...
I do know hes a flaming Liberal...
