If Carey was already holding the mike thus causing Obama to look in his direction, then why did Obama then look away from him and around to the other nearby members?
Very interesting how Obama walks over to Kerry’s section before Kerry stands up. I didn’t catch that while watching it, so good eye to the original blog poster. I believe many of the debate questions were hostile to Romney (especially the Bush one), but he handled them well.
Sorry, I don’t believe this. I watched it twice. What I saw was CC do a “tell” instead. When she started talking about “here’s Kerry with a question” or whatever she said, she first gestured with her hand toward Kerry, then nodded in Kerry’s direction. Obama naturally turned in that direction, said “hi, Kerry,” then did a double-take, obviously looking for a woman named Kerry (the same thing I did when I watched the debate originally). And then a *guy* introduced himself as Kerry, and they went on. I do *not* think Obama knew Kerry beforehand, judging from that bit of video.
However, the issue of WHY IN THE WORLD CC happened to have the EXACT RIGHT piece of paper in hand to “prove” Obama’s claim that he had called the Benghazi affair “terror” in his Rose Garden speech IS very weird, and even, I might say, suspicious. I sure would like to have THAT looked at in depth.
How did Obama know Crowley had the Rose Garden Benghazi transcript right in front of herÉ
To be more precise: when Candy looked to the left, Obama seemingly followed her lead and started walking in that direction.
-— . then, rut roh, . after an internal psyche trigger kicked in, President Obama does the ((oops)) *looks around* as if to say where am I going then asks whats your name? ——
Whoa Nelly! < /Keith Jackson voice>
*That* showed some coordiantion between CC and Obama Camp.
But the ‘hi kerry’ from Obama in the clip, by itself, is not indictive of a set up of Kerry Ladka. [For all we know, it could be CC already gave Obama the questions beforehand.]
The physical movement I can’t explain. I’m just saying we shouldn’t be too obsessed with seeing something that may not be there ....
What we need at a minimum is to view this event from some different camera angles.
My first thought on the night of the debate was that Obama heard the name Kerry, thought he was going to be dealing with a female questioner, and right away said in his little cute voice, “Hi, Kerry.” It was only when Mr. Ladka stood up that Prezzy was all, “wow, you’re a dude.” At the time, I thought it would become a lasting and classic oops moment for him.
>> “One would think that Obama and Crowley would have worked out the stagecraft a little more convincingly.” <<
They did as well as they could withg what little IQ there was to work with.
Holy cow....... Even with set-ups Bambi seems to still come out looking bad!
That was blatantly obvious!
...punctuated by pop kicks and fist pumps.
The FACT that when the question about Benghazi was asked and Romney challenged Obama about it, Obama SAID “CANDY, “GET THE TRANSCRIPT” automatically told me that IT WAS a setup. If it weren’t, WHY would Crowley have had the copy available at her fingertips?
Further, when watching FOXNEWS and GRETA, yesterday, when they had interviewed the guy who asked that specific question; I watched him very closely. I felt he was truly being VERY COY on how he answered the questions he was being asked for fear of giving away his part of this whole farce. Even the “private’ response to him from Obama after the dabate ended, I’m sure was part of the whole script. He tried to give the impression he hadn’t yet made up his mind as to who he would end up voting for and I felt he was lying through his teeth. He’s a definite Obama man. I wonder just how much he was paid for his act!?!
Agreed. Too early to say this is a plant. But further analysis is waranted
I have not watched the Kerry Ladka clip. I was speaking more to this entire debate being set up.
-most of the questions preselected by Crowley were Dem talking points. the `bush ruined everything`lady, the inequality in the workplace lady, the immigration baloney, the assault weapons baloney
-Candy frequently interrupted Romney (especially at times he was about to clobber Obama; fast and furious)
-Candy afforded Obama opportunities to rebut Romney`s rebuttal after Obama was asked a question, but wouldn`t do the same for Romney
-Candy bailed out Obama on Benghazi; how did Obama know she had that transcript in front of her anyway
-Candy failed to ask follow up questions of Obama after he blatantly lied; permits on federal lands
RoosterRedux has hit GOLD.
great catch! THANKS!
That is some mighty fine detective work. Truly amazing.
If ZERO weren’t so clumsy, it would NEVER have been suspected.
I have been looking through youtube to see if I can find any different camera angles of this event. No luck so far.
I caught it. Thought it was very disrespectful. No reason at this late date in the campaign for her to not know what his name is.

LADKA: I -- my vote is hinging on the president's propensity for positive social change. I like his "ObamaCare" idea. I don't want to see any cuts in Social Security or Medicare or Medicaid. I don't want to see them turned into a voucher system. I don't want to see Planned Parenthood cut or anything else.
LADKA: I will. And can I just take a moment to thank my boss, Isaac Illiasoff at Global Telecom Supply in Minneola, for allowing me to take off so that I could attend the town hall. It was really a great experience. And without Isaac at Global Telecom Supply, I never would have been able to attend.
VAN SUSTEREN: And I should note that you even gave them credit for your question last night, in rereading the transcript.
VAN SUSTEREN: So they're getting a lot of credit.
LADKA: Isaac's actually part of our brain trust. So we have Phil and Justin, Isaac, Christian and myself and John. So -- but Isaac is the boss, so he was the one who actually allowed me to attend the town hall. So it was very generous of him to do so. And I wanted to thank him publicly, so thank you for taking -- giving me the time.
It sounds to me like he first says Kera. Also , it may be that Crowley points that way. She does move her pen in that direction when we see her full close up.
That said, I think it was a set up with that transcript. The question was NOT about the transcript. It was about security.
So just how did Crowley have that transcript and how did Obama know.
Someone needs to investigate.
I’m thinking R and O happened to be looking in that direction because stage staff was getting the mic to Ladka. Barry’s bad acting of looking around like “Who... What?” really blows it for him though. Looks bad. Contrived. Set up.
Wow, he is so made on this. And then he has the nerve to ask the guy “What’s your name”?!
bringing down the country is something he probably is proud of
Thanks for the ping! I watched and to me, it seemed like he started to say Hi Ker...then caught himself.
I agree that seeing other camera angles would be the only way to know exactly what went on, but on first look it’s sure strange.
>>I just do not understand how they think people would have totally forgotten those 2 weeks. Just because the MSM backs him up doesnt mean people would really forget.
It worked for the Soviets.
This is like 1984. In the USSR, they just reprinted textbooks, cut undesirable people out of pictures, and rewrote history to suit their purposes.
Democrats think they can do the same thing. They use photoshop to create fake birth certificates and alter photographs to fit their narrative. They have the massive media propaganda machine spinning the party line.
Fortunately, we now have the internet (in particular FR!) to expose their lies.
Not only is he a terrible President, he is also a terrible actor.
This guy has such a limited skill set it’s a wonder he doesn’t need handlers to eat and breathe for him.
Watch Crowley, fingering the “transcript” as Romney steps up at 1:10:04 and following,
