Where Is Chris Christie?

Where is Chris Christie?

From the vantage point of my information universe, it's as if (to me) Christie gave his speech at the convention, and since that time I get a sense that he is NOT in any other way, particularly NOT in his own state, working very hard to help Romney, at least not very publicly.

I gather the national media enjoys making a GOP darling out of him, but, knowing he has to run for governor again in his own Dim-dominated state, he won't go out of his way to help Romney at the expense of some of the Democrat voters he will need next time??

Or, I am just uninformed?

Speaking of which, where’s Rick Perry? I kind of miss the big lug. His debate performances were priceless.

Christie was in Ohio last week, appearing at two Romney rallies and doing local radio interviews. Beyond that idk.

You are uninformed. He has been in Ohio more than once with the Romney victory tour. He gave speeches in Lordstown (Youngstown) and the Cleveland area.

Word is that he is also the Governor of the State of New Jersey.

Step out the front door and have a look. If he’s within 50 miles you can’t miss him.

Neither Texas nor NJ is a battleground state. I don’t know how much Perry or Christie could help Romney on the hustings.

“Eating funnel cakes and hot dogs from Costco...”

Followed by an “ERRRRRRRRRPPPP!!!” that echoes in seven states like the roar of distant thunder.

You are uninformed. Inform yourself by doing an internet search (It's easy! It's fast!) and you will see news of Chris Christie doing some campaign support work for Mitt Romney as well as other GOP candidates.

In fact, this is one item that came up on a search:

Gov. Christie to campaign for Romney in Virginia today
Gov. Chris Christie caps a busy week on the campaign trail today with a rally in Virginia for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. In Virginia, a Rasmussen poll released Friday shows Romney with 50 percent … NJ.com · ByJarrett Renshaw · 2 hours ago

P.S.: I heard yesterday that New Jersey is no longer a "lock" for Obama but instead is actually "in play".

Actually he has been stumping quite a bit for Romney in Ohio.

Northeast Ohio and New Jersey share certain (ahem......ahem) cultural affinities.

Christie is getting some heat from the Dems. for being absent as the tax revenue and financial situation here in NJ worsens. Too much campigning out of state they say.

NJ won’t ever go for Romney but there are definitely pockets of resistance like in Hunterdon County where I live.

Too much democratic strength in Newark, Trenton and Camden. Without those three basket-case cities we’d be flush with money and conservative politically.
