I cannot trust this guy any more.
I give up on life.
I watch the original version of Top Gear all the time and my opinion of British conservatives has risen considerably.
Because my son, Wayne, the documentary film director, has lived so long in England, I have been there a number of times and immersed in their language. Wayne sounds British so he fits in, I sound Texan, and people in shops stare at me when I talk. Texan is right and British is wrong.
I was back in the US and time went by and one day the TV is all atwitter because Hugh Grant was arrested with a prostitute in a car. My phone rang not long after that and it was Wayne. He said, “Mother, the man who kissed you at the party was Hugh Grant.”
I swear all he did was kiss me on the cheek and that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
i just wish they wouldn’t show the kid using a pistol hitting head shots from 70-100 yards, shotguns making isolated head shots from moving vehicles on bumpy roads and the older woman popping zombies with an open site AK-47.
the most realistic scene was when the blond lawyer almost shot the redneck by accident and just grazed his head.
I really like the series and my complaints are only minor. .
Being Southern born and raised myself, it's always been a pet peeve of mine that Southern accents are routinely mangled in TV and the movies....they just rarely sound authentic. But this isn't the first time I've seen a British actor pull it off well. (The actress who plays Maggie is also a Brit, BTW).
Tonight's ep was killer. I thought Lori had lost her lips to Herschel....I screamed so loud my husband jumped. And thank you, Rick, for not hesitating to take out Rico Suave.
