Was listening to Pat Caddell and another pollster (forget name) on Hannity and they were discussing the possibility of Obama following through with his claim of attacking Libya in retaliation. They claim if Obama carries that out, he could very well receive a big boost with would prob have him win.
My thoughts are (as a conservative) that this would be purely a blatant political move for that purpose of tipping the scale to his favor. But of course, all of us are not as smart of the some of us right-minded.
Your thoughts? Would it be a dumb and useless move and waste of resources and life, or a true threat to the success of the R/R campaign effort?

Yep, death and destruction in another war we shouldn’t be in will win him a vote or two. I doubt even he is that stupid, then again.
If he tries it, it won’t help. The timing would not only be too suspicious, it would highlight the fact that he left Stevens and his people to die in the first place.
I can not see obama hurting his islamic friends, in any fashion.
His options are dwindling.
If the Allred slime efforts are a dud, he is down to either forgiving student loan debt or bombing Libya.
Not sure he has enough time to gin up support for the student loan debt canard, so bombing Libya it is.
I hope and pray he has enough humanity not to bomb another country solely for potential political game, but based on what we have seen of him to this point, I definitely do not put it past him.
One thing we can be sure of, he will not go quietly.

What’s it going to be?Maybe an attack on Iran.Congress had best keep an eye on this guy and make sure he doesn’t abuse the War Powers act.
I don’t think he will risk ticking off his liberal base. He needs them to turn out.
It would look ridiculous. Just like Clinton's bombing on the eve of his impeachment. To "give him more time".
It would do him more harm than good at this point. He’s got to be smart enough to know that.
Nothing quite like alienating his base days before he needs them.
Maybe the World Court could prosecute him and demand he pay back the Nobel Peace Prize funds he received in 2009. From hero to tyrant in 3 years.
Obama is certainly capable of bombing his Muslim friends...after all the sacrifice will be for the common good of advancing his conquest of the USA.
Am I obtuse, because I don’t see this as a positive with the voters? I don’t think it necessary either.
An attack in Libya at this point does nothing for him. He’s either:
-A warmonger looking for the next Muslim country to start a war with...
or
-A desperate candidate trying to appear Presidential before a tough election.
Politically, I hope he does try a Libya play. He’ll have Hell explaining it and making any political hay on it.
Might explain why Obama didn;t respond with help for Stevens ,...but shows the dangerous game Obama is playing to take out Assad.

Any significantly newsworthy action by the president between now and the election is going to be seen through a very thick political lens. I believe that most people would see this (a military operation in Libya) as a blatant attempt at manipulating public opinion. As such, he is likely to lose more support than he gains.
