HUGE Early Voting Line In Florida Today
Self | October 2012 | PJ-Comix

Posted on 10/27/2012 3:36:17 PM PDT by PJ-Comix

I went to vote via Early Voting at the local library here in Broward County Florida today as I had planned but the line was HUGE. I mean I saw cars from two blocks away parked on the street. I have never seen such a large crowd for early voting before.

Any ideas on what that means?

BTW, I decided not to vote today. Partly because I don't like to wait on long lines and also because I have had a really upset stomach the past few days to the extent that I was bedridden all day Thursday. Anyway, I'll do my early voting later in the week when the lines not so long.

I would say it’s circumstantial evidence that Romney will do well. But I’m not an expert at this sort of stuff.

Brings to mind a july afternoon at Chik-fil-a. Obama is a bore and his own people are not in that 2008 messiah mode. Our side is outraged and would crawl over broken glass to vote against him.

That my take.

The local Chick-fil-a restaurant is just down the street from that library. It was the first food I ate after my Thursday problems with the stomach. Chicken sandwich.

It sounds like his fascination with the black culture wore off over these past 4 years.

Calm in Tijeras NM, but we never feel the need to do anything because of hurricanes.

First day of early voting here in west central Florida — longest line I’ve seen for first day. And folks looked like they were enjoying getting to the polls.

The FL people have said vote early because there will be lines on election day lol
The fact is, early voting on Saturday, Sunday, any day, is VERY convenient! We are going tomorrow (Duval County).
R’s have mailed out at least 2 early vote reminders. The D’s went around early this morning and left a door hanger. we were sorry we missed them, we didn’t get a chance to have a “word” with them about their candidate :)

Unfortunately, there were HUGE lines (I mean MASSIVE) at the two places I went to in Prince George’s County, Maryland today.

I say unfortunately, because, after all, it is PG County :(

The early voting place in College Park not only was jammed full, there was a rather long traffic jam to even get to the parking lot.

No parking, wife not able to walk far, we moved on.

The early voting place in Landover (located right next to Fedex Field) was even worse, but at least we could find parking. Since my wife is disabled (with a cane), we were able to bump the line...which, according to people we talked to on the way out, was over a 3 hour wait. Well over 1,000 people...literally...waiting in line to vote.

I believe this may have been partially in response to “Sandy” (which the news has been hyping for a week).

Let it suffice to say that, by appearance, my wife and I were likely the only Romney voters at that place.

When I voted in Shelby County, TN last week, there was only one Obama voter in line. Four years ago it was 50/50.

Same here in Pasco County. I got there about an hour after polls opened at the local library and there were a couple of hundred people in line. I’ve never seen so many people early voting. In the past, I’ve just walked right in and voted.

Lots of Blacks were in line also. Maybe they were the ones who escaped from the Democrat plantation.

I’m not from FL, but I read that they shortened early voting from 3 weeks in ‘08 to 1 week this year. Not hard to figure out that this will cause more lines.
