Notice that Brit said that and not Karl Rove...
Rove wants to make sure that we RACE THROUGH THE FINISH LINE!!!
If we coast, we lose.
Get Out The Vote!
I just saw something that made me very optimistic. The wife and I drove down to the beach in Westport, CT to check on hurricane preps. On our short cruiseabout, I counted six RR bumper stickers vs. zero Zero bumper stickers, and Romney yard signs were out in droves. Literally dozens of them. Very few for Obummer. And this in Westport - the actual home of the limosine liberals. I think they are tired of being vilified.
I’m so very worried for their safety. Caught Ryan on C-Span at an Ohio event. When he left the stage to go into the audience the SS was so close, they looked like one. Pray for everybody willing to take care of Romney/Ryan.
HA! I just saved it...will go on my facebook page. Currently I have the Romney/Ryan logo as my profile pic.
Ironically the State of Nevada is exempt from a number of ObamaCare provisions. The rationale is that insurers would otherwise flee the state. Romney may be able to force Nevada into full compliance via executive order. This would put the Nevada service industry into a bind.
Any Democrat in either house who votes for repeal can use the excuse that the private sector in this economy cannot handle the burden of ObamaCare.
Did I hear Brit Hume say that he had lost a son? Said his son was in the military but the death was not combat related?
Anyone hear that?
His son committed suicide at age 21 and he was just starting a promising journalistic career.
Too many of those to count
There is no mathematical way they can retain the senate.
The only thing they can do is mitigate what Size a majority Republican Senate will be....
Geez........prayers for Brit and for his son.
That’s so sad.
Daay-um!! The Battleground poll is usually one of the most accurate! This is awesome news!
Hubby has been telling me that it is going to be a blowout since before the end of the primaries. He was thinking 40 states; but, when I told him that I just saw an article saying that Ohio is a dead heat, he says he may revive his estimate to 43.
As long as I live, I will never, ever forget the eloquence of Tony Snow that Sunday morning when he told the audience about Sandy Hume's death by suicide.
“This would be huge”
The only poll that matters is the one on November 6.
No one is “ahead”, no one is “behind”. The polls are a distraction. Forget about ‘em.
Hey - was that Compo Beach? (Grew up there.)
You can;t fix DEMOCRAT!
Yes, it was! You might be interested to know that they had bulldozers there all day creating a berm of sand 7 or 8 feet high just on the other side of the stone wall that lines Soundview Dr. The first row of houses all had sandbags in front of them. Downtown, all the stores on the Post Road from Jessup Rd. up to Church Lane were putting sand bags in front. Mayor Moccia in Norwalk just announced that they were expecting a storm surge as high as 16 feet! That east wind is shoving water into the Sound and not letting it out. We're going to be seeing the accumulation of 4 tide cycles of water before it starts going out again. Its going to stink around here later in the week.
Fox Booze Sunday?
I pray that you are correct.
Thanks for the graphic, I promptly saved it.
Please keep up the good work and send more, they ARE appreciated.
Thanks again, Dan
Vanities by the lonely, gotta love em........
Brit's Wikipedia biography quotes him on the impact his son's death had on his religious faith--worth taking a look at.
Don’t know much about sandy hume. Very sad. Also I really miss Tony Snow. Will have to watch that on youtube.
From the transcript:
BRIT HUME, FOX NEWS: Well, let’s assume that everyone is right and Ohio is the linchpin in the whole thing, which I think is a reasonable supposition at this point. You have a set of national polls, to include Gallup, and Rasmussen, that show Romney with a 4, 5, 6 point lead, depending on which poll you look at. There will be another one out tomorrow, this is a bipartisan poll called the battleground poll, which is a solid poll, reliable poll it will show Romney up 5, nationally.
WALLACE: In the battle ground states.
HUME: No, it’s called the battleground poll that’s the name of it, but it is a national poll.
Now, if those polls are generally correct it is difficult to imagine that Ohio would be all that different. Ohio has pretty closely tacked the national outcome for — since about 1960. So, it is certainly true, and worth noting, that Mitt Romney does not now lead in a single Ohio poll. But I can’t believe that that national poll wouldn’t tell you something about how Iowa will go if the polls are correct.
What did the last Battleground poll show? (sorry I am in poll overload mode, and can’t keep up with them all)
I think romney was up a point or two.
Wow. Thanks for the update. It’s been 40 years or so since I’ve been there, but I spent every day of the summer on that beach when I was little. Fun to think about it now.
Stay safe, FRiend!
Glad you guys like the graphic. Feel free to post it wherever you like. I’ve had it for a long time. Just saving it for the perfect moment :-)
You're welcome, Dan. Please spread it far and wide.
that would make a great bumper sticker...that I could put on obama cars....LOL
really?....you think the pubs take the Senate?.....that would be outrageous....
I have it at 51 on the low side. 58 if the stars align.
No matter what, a majority.
I’ve read many times over the years that if a candidate wins the majority vote by 3.5 points or more it’s statistically impossible for him to lose the electotal college vote. Don’t know this to be an absolute fact but, this is certainly what the pros say.
If Romney pulls this off, I’m putting a GTFO Sticker AND this one on the car.
I live in Commiefornia but I love to live dangerously. LOL
I'm a native Californio myself. I live in Texas now, where most folks don't think twice about a right-wing sticker on your vehicle. We've got our share of brain dead libs, of course, but the worst reaction I've gotten because of my Gadsden flag sticker, is a one fingered salute out a car window.
If we were still in Cali, there's no way I'd be sporting that on my truck. I'd be worried about what my 'tolerant' and 'inclusive' neighbors would do about it.
