Not exactly SciFi, but ...
I watched Mockingbird Lane, supposed to be a reboot of the old TV commedy, The Munsters.
It was horrible. It was like a script in search of something. It tried to be comedic, but it wasn’t funny. It tried to be weird, but the special effects just turned out to be gross. It tried to be serious drama, but it was too silly to be taken seriously.

What’s this crap! Tonight there will be three really good OLD si-fi movies on TCM!
20 Million Miles To Earth
Earth vs the Flying Saucers!
THE FIRST MEN IN THE MOON!
Made when si-fi was good!
Completely agree. I usually like more comedy in my comedies. It was boring, predictable, dull and NOT funny.
If anyone hasn’t seen Continuum yet (Canadian series)
It’s streaming here. First season 1-10 (pretty decent show)

I have given up on Revolution. Completely boring and predictable.
The problem with Continuum:
Sorry!
This video is not available in your country. [USA]
I never watched Revolution, because I thought its premise was too silly.
I did try to watch Beauty & the Beast, but just can’t seem to get involved in it.
Similar with 666 Park Avenue. I have watched all the current episodes, but it just doesn’t hold my interest.
Besides, the remade the Munsters about 20 years ago. It didnt take.
I just stumbled onto The Booth at the End. People do evil deeds, that “the man” picks at random from a book,, in exchange for a wish.
The whole show 10 eps takes place in a booth in a dinner.
I watched the original Beuty and the Beast. I didn't like the premise of this one where he was like a werewolf or the Hulk or something.
Next to the Walking Dead, my fave is “Last Resort”. It’s not science fiction but excellet drama and the plot line is great........
WALKING DEAD - AMC, TONIGHT, 8 PM CENTRAL
Got it set on my DVR, thanks.......Will watch my Tigers get beat then Walking Dead after I get up in the morning........
oops..Sorry..if you want to check it out I can send you a different link by freep mail
20 Million Miles to Earth, a Ray Harryhausen classic SciFi is on TCM at 5PM Pacific
IOW: Starting right about now
Ahh, you beat me to it.
Wow, three good ones in a row, I may have to pass on watching the World Series.
I watched the first 3 because I really like Vanessa Williams and the Guy from Lost, but got bored after that.
Agreed
***Wow, three good ones in a row,****
Actually four! After the first men in the moon is the original silent PHANTOM OF THE OPERA with Lon Chaney! The best Phantom ever made!
Really enjoying Walking Dead this season so far. They’ve got the “Governor” and Michonne. I just hope they stray away from the more perverse/sadistic elements in the comic, but I could be wrong.
It was interesting to see the loose canon Merle kowed by the Governor.
I can’t wait until the Dr. Who Christmas special comes.
Agreed. If you had a conscience and know how to turn the power back on, you don’t wait 15 years in hiding to do it.
Someone said the reason the show got better was that they went from being liberal to conservative. Lorrie was worried about her son wandering in the last season, but also worried about him having a gun, in a world filled with zombies. Now he dispatches them along with the men. The group was worried about ethics and nitpicking social stuff instead of survival, neglecting hard preparations for winter or defense of the farm. Now they clearly have defense front and foremost. Even Carol learned how to shoot and some medical skills from the doctor. It’s more realistic than the assumption that the zombies would continue to leave the farm alone, while Herschel naively denied them their guns.
A post-Obama sci-fi short story, “Fire Season”

I couldn't believe it - Merle turned into a wuss/pussy/wet noddle. That Governor is something else. But, it's so bad outside his walls, I think I would stay there and have a small profile, stay away from the Governor.
And the way Rick took care of Tomas sooner than later, that just blew me away. I was worried they would drag out the season with that little power struggle, but the job was DONE!
I’m also glad Lori admitted that she was a bad mother and wife. So many fans want her character to die off since she’s such a b****. Nice to see her have less edge to her and trying to repair things with Rick and craving his affections.
She’s about to be utterly, physically dependent on him as a new mother and with a screaming dinner bell for zombies (wailing newborn) shortly. She has to keep him willing to do anything for her for them to have a chance at survival. Though that doesn’t happen if they follow the comic story arc.
Sorry, tbw2, I meant to say you nailed that perfectly on the head.
Why does the governor have the zombie heads in the fish tanks?
going over some pings...i’ve never seen that one (u-tube). :-D
