Boy, was she trashed!
A completely hammered Manhattan lawyer who got locked out of her Chelsea apartment yesterday nearly lost her arm when she jumped down the garbage chute to get back inside.
The hare-brained bid began when attorney Maggie Baumer came home from a long night on the town at around 6 a.m., only to find herself stuck without the keys to her first-floor apartment on West 21st Street.
A source in the building said the buzzed Baumer had given her keys to a friend.

what a maroon
I love a story with a happy ending.
Let the lawsuits begin!
I bet she’ll sue the building owner for failing to put a warning on the garbage chute
I bet she’d be fun to know.
Per the photo, she gets a “guilty” from the FR jury.
Unfortunately you know she’ll sue the mfgr of the trash compactor equipment for failing to provide a breathalyzer and win several million $$$.
Poor thing. At least she wasn’t driving.
Hell no. She is not guilty.
Attorney Margaret Baumer is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and New York. Ms. Baumer is a graduate of Tufts University and The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (2011) in New York City. She joined our firm on a full-time basis in September 2011. Ms. Baumer focuses her practice on a wide variety of corporate employment-related nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters as well as on Consular Processing.
Legal aid lawyer?
Lives in Manhattan. Female. Lawyer. Voting for the Marxist.
Well as Dean Wormer said.....
Get her drunk and ya know fer sure she is going dowwwwn!!!
That trash compactor almost took her arm clean off. There’s a joke in this story but I can’t quite pull it out.
Another likely voter for Obama, if she is sober enough on Election Day to work the voting machine without breaking her hand.

Beautiful, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, Miss.
