Does Bible Code Predict President Romney? (looks like it)
WND ^ | October 27, 2012 | Joe Kovacs

A well-known Bible-code researcher has bad news for Barack Obama, as he claims hidden texts in the Holy Bible indicate Mitt Romney will be America’s next president.

Moshe Aharon Shak, an orthodox Jew and author of “Bible Codes Breakthrough,” has produced a series of videos on YouTube with his modern analysis of Scripture.

For those not familiar with Bible codes, they are said to be secret messages embedded in the Torah, the first five books of the Old Testament.

Those who claim the codes’ validity say they disclose information about both the past, as well as the future. The messages are decoded when a computer is used to search in a certain pattern, such as every fourth or fifth Hebrew letter within a given matrix.

“The matrix is found in Deuteronomy Chapter 28, verses 13 and 14,” says Shak, a mechanical engineer from Montreal, Canada. “There we find his first name, last name, day and month of birth, and the term ‘president.’ Fifteen terms consisting of 85 letters are found telling a fascinating story.”

Shak says the Hebrew code goes beyond merely stating that Romney will be president, but also describes the kind of leader he’ll be.

“The codes are telling us: a fitting president,” he explains, adding that Romney’s name is associated with the phrase, “the man (is) for Him,” referring to the Master of the universe.

“I suppose that means that he (Romney) will follow His (God’s) ways,” said Shak. “But the term goes both ways. It also means that the Master of the universe will be for him, for Romney.”

The BibleCodesDigest website has looked at Shak’s videos, and says, “Although he claims that the search is done by established methodology guided by scientific principles, there are two critical caveats that must be understood.”

“Bob Newhart had a theory about writing novels. Given and infinite number of monkeys each with a typewriter they would eventually produced all the great novels.”

Yea, but it’s not true... If for no other reason than typewriters wouldn’t last an infinite time.

The bible code is awesome. Even better than global warming theories. The bible code predicted what I was having for breakfast this morning. Amazing.

Now run the koran through the same algorithm.

If you like, just don't play it backwards!

Hawking radiation - tunneling. Everything can get out eventually ~ particularly if it’s radiation, not just light, that can self-assemble itself into knots ~ from that you’d have it climbing its way out.

There's something way beyond random in there, I've become convinced of that after casually following the progress of this for over a decade.

We're not talking a couple of simple words anymore but lengthy sentences intersecting with other lengthy sentences, all upon interrelated topical matter.

The “surface text” of the actual Bible verses in which the code “matrix” is found is telling, too. I'm going to look it up to see.

But, it's a mistake to believe that this was ever meant to be predictive. There are points of view, statements by enemies or other opposed individuals, you'd really have to know what you're specifically looking for to pull up a matrix with accuracy and detail. That only comes with the benefit of hindsight.

In other words, Mr. Shak might discover to his embarrassment after the election that “President” merely referenced the fact that Romney has run for that office numerous times and did not mean he would actually be elected. This would be discovered by attempting to extend sentences and to expand the matrix by looking into other skip sequences. The tighter the skip sequence, the more fundamental or important the information is, or so it's believed. Higher skip sequences are more background oriented, fleshing out detail.

The one example of a code discovered ahead of the fact of which I'm aware, that actually turned out to be predictive came from Roy Reinhold in the immediate wake of 9/11. He was horrified by what had happened and spent countless hours scouring for related information with code searching software. What he found indicated that the next attack would come via the mail. Referencing anthrax.

That was to me pretty persuasive. There are many who dismiss it but this is not a new phenomenon at all. Jewish sages believed it millennia ago, Sir Isaac Newton spent most of his life working on it, the man most responsible for breaking the Enigma Code understood skip sequence coding as a result of his effort with the Torah code, he was a Jew.

Another compelling code of which I'm aware says: "Torah is a computer."

So, if anybody wants to be dismissive or laugh it off, fine, but I don't. It's come a very long way in a decade and there is much more yet to be found. Simple pictorial representations have been discovered, so there is visual information above and beyond Hebrew characters read in skip sequence.

They've only scratched the surface thus far.

I believe the Bible.

Period.

The Bible code idea is a fraud, a fake, a deception.

Just read the Scriptures as they are written.

Everything pertaining to eternal life and salvation are in the pages that were endorsed by Christ.

P.S. Scripture does NOT NOT NOT include the Koran, the BOM, the BG, the U., or any other book than the Hebrew Bible and the Greek NT.

i am trying to find out what he predicted in 2008 but haven’t yet. I did find this on obama written previously.

http://www.biblecodedigest.com/page.php?PageID=663

Concluding Remarks

We find it striking that the surface text containing the above three clusters seems to have a unified theme: Serve God, not yourself or any false idol (especially gold, i.e., money).

As a possible tool for dealing with the economic crisis, we would encourage our readers to consider meditating on this message. In the Parable of the Unjust Steward, Jesus said,

“No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”—Luke 16:13 (NIV)

Given the wide variety of topics, different skip lengths, and various locations in the text, one would not expect to find the codes grouping into clusters, but that is exactly what we found. From Genesis to 1 Kings, we found the topics of Barack Obama, the Global Financial Crisis, Swine Flu, Global Crisis and Famine, and a variety of America-related search terms intertwining in short passages of Scripture, and in relationship to the surface text. Even the most skeptical among us should take pause at this occurrence in the codes.

There are some interesting aspects to this. Yes it works with other texts but at least one statistician did a test on the bible and another book (let’s say Moby Dick ) and found the technique worked statistically significantly better with the bible text. And the technique work even worse with a collection of random letters.

Maybe it reveals some hidden pattern in human language?

The Bible code predicted the assination of the Israel Prime. Minister. A cryptography for the national security agency ran a probability analysis on the Bibles core being random. The analysis came back that the probability was extremily low thar it was random! The analysts put in the Prime Minister’s name and it came up he would be assinated. The prime minister was assinated before he could be warned!

Surface text for Mr. Shak’s Romney President code:

Deuteronomy 28:13-14
King James Version (KJV)

13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

“A major criticism of it was the way the author put all of the Hebrew letters next to each other, without breaks inbetween words or punctuation. And that one could “predict” almost anything based upon doing that arrangement.”

That was how the original Torah was written.

Some folks are quite enamored of the power alleged to bible codes — more success to them, be blessed.

But like any other supernatural attribute of things Judeo-Christian, they are only a witness. The plain text is vastly more important.
