Carl Cameron Reporting Romney "Giddy" Behind The Scenes

Posted on 11/03/2012 3:23:16 PM PDT by ConservativeMan55

Carl Cameron just reported that Mitt Romney is absolutely giddy behind the scenes.

He says on the campaign airplane when someone goes to use the bathroom.. Romney runs over and bangs on the door acting as if he has to go. LOL!

I think Romney has seen some internal polling...

You can always tell who the winner is the weekend before the election.

They have that extra smile, that spring in their step..

Sounds like Mitt is having fun. Why does Carl feel the need to report this?

Because Carl is in the tank for Obama and has nothing else better to do. Romney is giddy because he knows he is just three days away from becoming President of the United States..he knows it and anyone with an IQ above 10 knows it too

I think he’s just providing a little behind the scenes perspective. To show things are pretty happy in the Romney camp.

Romney needs to keep these stories low key! Uncommitted voters resent them because it makes them feel like they are being taken for granted.

Barry’s biggest mistake in this election cycle has been his tendency to assume he had an automatic lock on certain voter groups. It’s going to cost him.

Romney and the rest of us need to stay focused until the polls close. There will be time enough for celebrating then.

Yep, definitely not the actions of a person who thinks he's losing Tuesday night. Compare that to Obama’s “revenge” talk, (I think he's actually trying to gin up riots when he loses).

I think you’re right. Barry seems angry and vindictive.

Mormon humor, apparently. I guess if you can’t drink, you have to make your own fun somehow! LOL

If you listen between the lines of Carl’s reporting, there is always more than a dig or two against Romney.

Romney is absolutely giddy behind the scenes. Makes sense. Knowing you’re about to be elected President has got to be one heck of a drug.

I can’t stand Carl. He seems like such a weasel.

I pray that you are correct. I feel confident, but also on edge. It’s going to be a long three days.

After Romney wins, Harry Reid can console ‘Bronco’ Bama with a few verses of Cowboy poetry.

Thanks for posting this!

This cheers me a lot....Mitt must have good news from his internals.

I find that I'm really looking forward to having a President with strong moral values.

Mormons....well, Howard Hughes always trusted them :-)

Romney said he’ll issue an executive order allowing states to opt out of Obamacare as well.

I thought that was worth noting. He said he would issue a flood of executive orders cancelling out Obamas. LOVE it lol.

“Sounds like Mitt is having fun. Why does Carl feel the need to report this?”

Sounds like a real positive! I remember 2008 where there was the smell of death around the McCain campaign the last month. Everyone, I mean everyone, knew the race was over. In 1996 when Bob Dole ran against Bill Clinton I remember watching an interview that Dole gave on his airplane late in the campaign. It was all about the “no matter what happens” garbage that every losing candidate says when he knows he is going to lose. I remember going to a Dole rally and thinking that he was about as exciting as watching mud dry! Compared that to the excitement in the Bush campaign.

The point is that I think that Romney is confident he is going to win. This doesn’t that he will, but it also means that he hasn’t had the “bad news” briefing that every losing candidate gets from his campaign manager the weekend before the election. If anything, this exudes confidence. I am glad this was posted!
