How crazy was it at your polling place today?

I voted the evil "early voting" thing a couple of weeks ago, here in Dallas County, Texas, and it took about 20 minutes at Garland City Hall.

Took my mom over to the elementary school down the street about 2 this afternoon, took her 5 minutes in and out. Two or three other voters, nothing approaching a line.

Go Romney/Ryan, kick Obungler's skinny arse.

In Richmond, Va the lines were early then faded/ Extreme enthusiasm for Romney where I was a poll watcher from 6a to 8a! Romney signs out number BO 4 to 1 I’d say.

The Pollster didn’t think I was on the ballot because she thought my first name was my last name. Great job on reading a state driver’s ID.

If what I saw today was typical of precincts across VA, 0bama is going DOWN. Went in with no wait at all. During that exact same time of day 4 years ago, the place was PACKED. The crowd was obvious ‘0bama voters’ and younger, I’m guessing first time voters, and the line was going out the door/around the building. It doesn’t look like those first time voters of 4 years ago came back to get ‘screwed’ again.

None of those people were anywhere to be seen this year. It looked more like a typical election.

In South San Jose, California. No line. Walked right in and voted like every other time I have voted.

I can’t imagine having to wait hours in line to vote. What’s up with that???

In and out at about 1:00 PM for me. I was too early to get a chicken BBQ though.

Took my elderly parents mid morning when there was a lull. Very busy. Passed by the VFW polling place and there was NO parking and a line was wrapped around the building after school.

Heaviest turnout I’ve ever seen in my small GOP heavy Michigan town.

I live in a small rural town. I was at the polls at six. Lots of voters there. I’ve never seen that before. My wife took her dad and voted at 11. She said the place was still jumping and they had to wait. This is not normal for this place.

In a Fan district polling place at 2pm, no line, no waiting, no excitement. The area is heavy white democrat.

In 20 years living in this town I have NEVER seen lines like this. The either really love Obama or they really want him gone.

My wife and I voted at about 9:00am:

Illinois, DuPage County, Lisle Township, Naperville

There were about fifty voters at the precinct polling place. My wife, who voted in this same precinct from ‘76 to ‘94, said that she has never seen such a high turnout.

No line in my area in Carlsbad CA but it was full and steady according to the workers there and as people left, more came in so it was about 100% full at all times but no line.
