Not Safe!
Libs would use it as an opening to gut the Bill of Rights!

If we are going down the crapper anyway, why not try it?
I would rather real Americans pull the chain as opposed to the Commies.
The con con move could be the way to make the people see more clearly how the left has s l o w l y changed our nation, but more importantly how to stop further erosion and repair what has already been done.

I have always strongly opposed the idea of a new Constitutional Convention because the result would likely be 2000 pages long with every interest group making its petty desires into Constitutional Articles. However, with the late election the Constitution is a dead letter. We could not do worse with a Convention and might just barely possibly do something good.
The Constitution died finally during the Bush and Obama presidencies with the most damage and the coup de grace delivered by the recent Congress when it ceded to the President the power of ruling by Fiat.

Nice arguments going on here but they all presume we can play by the rules established in the Constitution. That document is no longer valid otherwise the turd in the whitehouse would never gotten past his senate seat. One has to consider more aggressive methods, legal ones aren’t an option anymore.
