IF THAT BE TRUE, you could be fay-muss. Do a research project and document it. Go get the voter rolls in one precinct and study it.

it is publicly available. cost about $20

option B: shut up.

FDR caused the economy to crash again, and nobody ever brings that up except Amity Shlaes. Yet his New Deal “saved” the economy.

The cult of Obama will probably live on like the cult of FDR and Kennedy for decades after.

The secretaries of state in Ohio and Pennsylvania are both republicans...John Husted in Ohio and Carol Aichele in Pennsylvania.

This election was very much stolen in the swing states.

Oh, bullcrap (with all due respect). I saw it with my own eyes. I live in a very middle-class suburb in Florida and when I went to my designated early-voting polling place last Friday, I was despondent to observe that I was one of but a dozen white males in line surrounded by throngs of African-Americans. Obama got the vote out. We stayed home --just as so many on this forum said they were going to do.

You've been posting here long enough. Don't act shocked that Romney lost.

Nope. It's far from over.

Unfortunately we are rapidly approaching the point where who won isn't important, it's who survives that will be important.

It just isn’t in his DNA any more than the possibility that Obama is likely to realize that he needs to govern half a country that didn’t vote for him.

Romney needs to stop this madness and now demand a recount and an invstigation into why these results do not add up plus why were observers kicked out

If not for himself, for those running in the next election.

Most of the pre-election polls showed a tightening race. They were right, while Rove, Barone, Morris and numerous talkshow personalities were wrong.

Several Senate seats that seemed to R-for-the-taking just weeks ago turned Dem. The R’s ran poor campaigns. Three of the R’s had mouth problems: Allen, Akins, and Mourdock.

Romney got fewer votes overall than McCain got in 2008. Obama got fewer votes overall than Obama got in 2008.

Nielson ratings showed about a 6 million drop in election night viewers from 2008 to 2012.

==

Romney lost

VA by about 110k, out of 3.69 million or by about 3%
OH by about 100k, out of 5.29 million or by about 2%
PA by about 280k, out of 5.53 million or by about 5%
IA by about 90k, out of 1.54 million or by nearly 6%
CO by about 100k, out of 2.36 million or by about 4%

==

The overall totals so far are

Obama 61.7 million (51.3%) for 2012 and 69.5 million (53.7%) for 2008
Romney 58.5 million (48.7%) for 2012 and 59.9 million (McCain 46.3%) for 2008

Total 120.2 million for 2012 and 129.4 million for 2008

==

It would seem that several of the ‘swing states’ were not such swing states afterall.

==

Without substantial proof, voter fraud will be difficult to prove. The percentages in the swing states Obama won seem fairly consistent.

No, he will not “uncpmcede.” JFK stole his election when the Chicago don, Daley, and LBJ’s Mexicans in the Valley of TX stuffed ballot boxes until they had enough votes to declare Kennedy the winner. Nixon did not contest the results.

George Bush was the first, and probably the last, GOP president to fight the cheaters in 2000. In this age of early voting and absentee ballots, the Democrats will steal every election. Obama’s Chicago thugs have set the template.

Republican dominated states should start IMMIEDIATELY TO CHANGE ELECTION LAWS. Don’t sit and whine later. At least it would point out the corruption in our elections today.

If the present corrupt situation is not remedied, Republicans should nominate no one for the presidency, pouring all their efforts and money into the Senate and House races. ( It would have been better to have done that this year.)

That would eliminate the veneer of “democracy” pumped out as so much bilge by the Democrat media and shine the spot light on their corruption. No ads, no convention hooey, no primaries, just an angry army of conservatives ready to do battle with the next Democrat crook to be elected president.

Question: Can Romney pull his concession speech based on the data from polling centers? Can he ask for a recount? And if he could...would he?

A concession speech is nothing and he can ask for a recount, but Romney won't.

And you are, of course, absolutely certain beyond any reasonable shred of doubt that these people only voted once, and only voted in your precinct, and didn't also vote by absentee ballot elsewhere.

The buses out front not withstanding.

Tell me, do throngs of African-Americans live in your suburb? Are you surrounded by throngs of African-Americans when you go to the gas station, grocery store, WalMart, or mall?

That 141% is likely garbage. Looking at the PDF in question, you'll notice that while there are ~175,000 registered voters, and ~250,000 "cards" were submitted (thus 141% "turnout"), the vote totals for Obama (~66,000) and Romney (~56,000) add up to only ~122,000, or about a 70% turnout.

I'm told that the county has a system where voters are handed 2 cards, because there are too many candidates and races and propositions to put on one card. It simply shows that the PDF spreadsheet is poorly explained, not that there was massive fraud. Don't let headline writers seeking attention make you hold a position that can't be defended.

My point being, investigate it first, then see if it is legit. There are counties in Ohio and Colorado with more votes that voters. All they had to do is match census data with registered voter data and vote for unlikely voters. That’s why we had so many tweeted reports of voters showing up at polls and finding they voted at 7:00 AM

" On this thread? KoRn and Drew68 for starters."

You obviously have reading comprehension issues, or are mistaken. I said (paraphrasing)that fraud probably DID take place, as it always does, just not enough to turn an entire national election.

The nature of the internet makes it difficult to put words into someone's mouth, when you are claiming they said something which they didn't. If you're trying to put thoughts into someone's head, or set up a straw man, it gets easier I suppose. All you have to do is just say it, and hope people will believe it.

Anyway, I've said all that I will on this. Have a good Saturday everyone!

This is the same kind of silly talk the Democrats spout when they lose elections.

We have Republican SOS’s, we have a very well funded Republican party, we have all sorts of conservative think tanks and legal operations, etc, etc, the list goes on and on. They may investigate legitimate problems here and there, but it isn’t anywhere near enough to reverse an election. In the end, this one wasn’t really all that close. Obama seems to have won by 2.5% with more vote counting on the left coast to go.

It’s over. Stop fantasizing that it isn’t. The next big stop for Romney will be his first big interview after his election defeat. Probably on 60 minutes or something.

the electoral college hasn’t met yet, and the electors haven’t even been selected

but I don’t think he will do anything at all

just my guess

(he hasn’t raised any complaint about the obvious instances of voter fraud....and he never raised, or did not raise with any significant fervor, many of the most obvious weaknesses of his opponent in the campaign. I don’t think Gov. Romney wants the job any more than Senator McCain did.)

Given threads on this message board which indicated possible voter fraud, I've been surprized that Romney conceded so quickly; Bush43 and Gore fought tooth-and-nail over Florida vote count. Romney's seemingly quick concession makes me wonder if GOP possibly chose Romney as Republican candidate over objections of patriots so that Romney would fail, just as it was rumored that GOP previously chose McCain, hoping that nobody would vote for McCain.

The reports of more voters than registered voters that I’ve seen have pretty legitimate explanations — eg multiple ballots cast because they couldn’t fit everything on one ballot.

Could you explain this to me?

You obviously didn't read my post. That's OK. Go on ahead embracing those "we wuz robbed!" sentiments here on Free Republic --a forum, by the way, where only a few months ago long-time accounts were zotted for merely expressing the opinion that Romney was going to be our nominee.

It's almost funny. At the beginning of this year Mitt Romney was supposedly the most lying, pro-abortion, homo-loving RINO who ever sullied a Republican campaign earning himself a "Romney Truth File" keyword and a "No Romney! No Way!" banner. Yet today people here are acting shocked that he lost! "Boo hoo! Illegal Messicans stole our votes!" Give me a break.

Here's a novel thought. Maybe it was a combination of voter fraud and PEOPLE SITTING AT HOME ON THEIR ASSES that cost Romney the election?
