Shucks: I thought these were going to be Cowgirls.
There has never been anything more beautiful than the female.
After the whole of Creation, God made her last of all.
She is the crown of all creation.
That is really cool. Thanks for posting.
very very cool.
Immaculate Conception (Guido Reni) at the Met. The painting just draws you upward.
On the Bank of the Seine (Claude Monet) at the Chicago Art Institute. It has the sense of a world lost to us, when one would spend Sunday afternoon to contemplate or read a book by the river.
Obviously, these don't capture the color, the aura, of these paintings. And there's plenty more to choose from (I have a reproduction Lady of Częstochowa in my dining room, for example). But those two are my favorite paintings of women.
Nice! Here’s another good one. Patty Griffin’s “Mary.”
Thank you for posting and really enjoyed the painting in #9
Thank you for posting that lovely song and video. Really enjoyed it.
Very cool! My daughter will love this.
You’re welcome. I’ve always loved the art in that little video. It’s so amazing how much artistic talent is present in those paintings.
Beautiful and elegant way to put it. Thanks!
