Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings for Jimmy & Cheryl! We didn’t get what we prayed for in this last election but that doesn’t mean to stop keeping on with what is right. I want to say keep on keeping on with God’s way till we are at our final forever Home. Blessing and pray for our country and its leader.

1½ weeks before Thanksgiving, and Home Depot has had Christmas decorations up for the past 3 weeks, already. The malls and shopping centers are busy putting theirs up, too. The unending "Holiday-Sales-From-Hell" (nay Christmas or New Years) season ads are about to kick-off, thru Jan 3rd. Catalogs are already arriving in the mail.

Pffft, I walked into my local Kohl’s in September, and they had their decorated Christmas trees up in the foyer, and all the other stuff-—decorations, bows, giftwrap, fuzzy pajama sets tied with ribbon-—all ready to go.

Meanwhile, Thanksgiving drops off the radar...it’s just a day to get past while you make your Black Friday shopping list.

Pffft10.

I just got back from a leisurely drive past the local Kohl's, Target, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Sears, Bon-Ton, Boscov's etc, and they all had ***Christmas*** decorations either outside, in window displays or in front of the places. And I just saw 2 semis full of bundled/cut Doug Firs, Norway Spruce and Blue Spruce trees headed 'somewhere'.

Geez....when you see it for four or five months of the year, you just tire of it.

I was getting checked out at Sam’s Club, standing there looking around at all the Christmas stuff, and I asked the cashier, a black girl, if she had the Christmas spirit. She rolled her eyes and said loudly, “OH LAWD, NO!” LOL

Thanksgiving and Christmas used to be 2 of my favorite times of the year. For the last 5-6yrs, not so much anymore. I’ve OD’d on Christmas’ seemingly-unending commercial promotions.

It's not inclusive enough. You should encourage everyone to have an enjoyable Rama-Hanna-Sol-Boxing-Day-Kwanz-mas, instead.
