I voted for Romney because he got shoved down our throats just like McCain got shoved down our throats.
It was NOT the Tea Party’s fought the Dems won, it was the establishment RINOs who keep giving us moderate to liberal candidates. If it weren’t for the Tea Party, the House would be in Democrat control.
It was the establishment that shot Akin down rather than standing by him at all cost to defeat McCaskill. It is the establishment that is NOT supporting Alan West in his effort of a voter recall. It is the establishment that is not questioning the possible voter fraud in PA, Ohio, Fl, Oregon, Wisconsin and Colorado.
The establishment wanted Obama. Savage warned us.
THAT was asinine. The socialist Democrats label Sarah a “dingbat” and a “loser”, the socialist Democrat media attacks her relentlessly, even McCain’s campaign people set her up with Katie Couric and someone “leaked” this and that; Karl Rove and other Republican “leading strategists” reject her and kick her to the curb. - She is a star in the Conservative movement, in the Tea Party; and a real drawing card. Oh, I forgot, the MODERATES, those elusive MODERATES!
If that is what happened then it's a real shame because her silence and non involvement in this election cycle effectively ended her national political chances. She's been away from political office and political involvement of any stature for too long now to be a force in the future unless she wins a House or Senate seat and builds from there.
I can't help but envision Palin's acceptance speech and many subsequent speeches as a VP candidate, where she was "on fire" and so were the crowds. She not only had charisma, she had vitality, enthusiasm and connectivity. Then I think of all the GOP-e chosen top of the ticket boys who barely drag their ass across the stage and appear to smell of mothballs and I ask myself, why the hell am I even pretending that these guys represent me and my values?
While I agree with the first half of your statement, I think that the latter half should us your moniker minus the 45 caliber.

My Mother always said I was troublesome child. We have especially nasty demonrat party reps where I live. Most people don’t like a couple of them as a general rule so they have trouble getting help. I shall act disheartened and be in absolute agreement that we need amnesty, more government as it is the only answer. Bla, bla, bla. I suspect they are at least as stupid as I was the last month or so when I was lapping up all the polling junk from Toe Sucker Morris and the architect. I wanted him gone so bad that I ignored my gut and accepted Romney as a conservative. My husband sent him money.That is not happening again. Maybe one more snort of the Obama crack cocaine is what will kill or at least weaken the democrap party. Rest assured I will be convincing in my change of heart with these demons sent from hell to destroy us all. I have been so deluded by people that I just found out Krauthammer was Mondale’s speech writer. I have developed a serious case of cynicism. I refuse to believe anything anyone says. Show me, prove it or shut up is my new name. Sorry for the rant.
I love Glenn, and I am going to hear what the Tea Party has to say. I do agree that they have an excellent point: Taxation without representation, is bad for America.
My thing is that I don’t join groups. They always end up to be infighting for power and control and cults of personality.
If the Tea Party wants to present something honest, I will pay attention.
