We have a Republican majority in our Texas house and senate and I’m sure we will resist Hussein’s healthcare as long as it is possible.
Texas did reserve the right to secede when the state joined the union. I don’t believe any other state had that written into their statehood documents.

I am wrong. I just looked it up on the Texas historical website. After the civil war, documents were signed readmitting Texas to the union and there is no language in that document permitting Texas to secede.
