An angel freeper passed along this piece of Bill Whittle brilliance from the day after the election -

Easy listening and so uplifting.
Many of the same ideas - both are terrific.

:) Haven’t been called an angel in a long time. When I get really depressed about the situation, I think, “Ignore them!” Also, “I’m not leaving the country; they are!”
Kolath: Thank you for the post. That was cheering and a very positive picture of our future.
Windflier: Thanks for the ping, my friend.
Will we be the ones who prevent the collapse of the best culture on Earth? Can we “overcome ourselves” to the point of returning to the Shining City on the Hill?
Crashing through the 200-Year Wall and being successful on the other side is not going to be quick or easy, but I’m game with the time I have left.
The best point? Make the leftists pay when they vote goodies for themselves. “Fire the Obama bumper-sticker crowd.” Yeah.

Funny how this gentlemen uses Robt. E. Lee freely in his speech but never mentions secession as a viable possiblity.
"Heres another version which, in some ways is bolder, a little more raw. This is Whittles talk to the camera, alone, the night of the election right after the results were known.
Hes making the same point but in a more straightforward manner. What I did was watch about 10 minutes of it, and then skipped to around minute 50. After that, I couldnt turn it off! I believe the man is on to something inspiring, practical, moral."
An email response I got from another friend. It’s her response to Bill Whittle:
“Hello Mr. Whittle,
I just watched several of your recent videos.
I could not agree with you more.
What you are proposing to some degree has already taken root in the programming community with open source programs and licensing (Linux, Star Office, Source Forge, etc.) in an effort to resist the Microsoft monopoly.
Volunteers in droves created an alternate programming and software universe.
What you said about taking care of ourselves (as in like-minded individuals) were words right out of my mouth and many of my friends. You have definitely articulated the thoughts of many.
I plan to boycott all restaurants, stores, services that are owned by Democrats. I will not knowingly use the services of a Democrat if a Republican is available.
In order to do this I have to know who they are.
Once our local county election office gets all the data, I plan to get the voter database and extract the names of all those who voted in the Republican primary and give my business to these folks for everything I possibly can.
A Patriot database could be set up from each county for national access.
Just a thought. I am sure you have many more.
God bless and keep up the good work!”

You might want to check his weekly YouTube commentaries called “The Stratosphere Lounge” (up to 18 episodes). Very insightful and in some, he goes into his past.
Bill Whittle: “The Stratosphere Lounge”
thanks i will
“He seems to have been born in 1941?”
He said he was 10 years old for the moon landing.
He’s 53. He used to work as a screenwriter and has several TV or movie credits—nothing huge and famous. He says he did freelancing for many years and made very little money. Why don’t you ask him for the details? He’s available.
I figured he had to be a freeper. ‘;^)
