I’ve been a homemaker for over 50 years and didn’t even know there was such a thing as canned potatoes.

Never too old to learn,I guess.

I remember having canned potatoes when I was small but they were in quart Mason jars which my mom “put up” every fall. Really good in the winter with some home canned green beans. My real favorite though was creamed peas and new potatoes both fixed right out of the garden in the spring.

Canned potatoes are relatively cheap. Sort of like fast food. They fry up faster. My hubby uses them to make home fries. He does the cooking. I mow the lawn.
