Well, it didn't take long, I just received a call from a Rick Santorum donation Pac. "Are upset by the election results?...So am I...blahh blah , blah.... with Your CASH, We can stop Obama..... we can make history....." Uhh, wasn't that have suppose to happen TWO WEEKS AGO!!!!!!!!! (that was a scream from the roof top). I read another Freerers thread mentioning how the GOP seems to hand out "POTUS Turns" to these guys. It was Bushs turn, then McCain, Then Romney, what now, Santorum? COME ON MAN!! I AM THROUGH WITH GOP!! The next person up for 2016 is gonna have to be an outside the beltaway Plumbers crack simpleton who can do a better job than any of these BOZOS! The best thing these men can do is throw there money at defeating their own GOP washington elites that hold conservatism hostage. This election exposed them for what they are, FOOLS. Fool me once (2008) Shame on you, Fool me twice (2012) shame on ME. The Republican party has HUGE problem on their hands because the 2012 general election just cost them 49.4 % of the votes!!! Hey Rick, Hey Jeb, Hey Marco, Hey Krispy Kreme, GOOD luck trying. Don't waste your time, it aint YOU! (Pissed off, YA THINK!)
I am so done with the GOP.
Past his “sell by” date!
There is no such thing as “turns” of course.
Yes, we should be done with these people
It am good it are he turn but why you axe quexions about thing you near underwear? Pleasing biscuits.
If the GOPe Were Smart They Would Beg Gov. Palin to Come Back Into the Room

Hey GOP, take the Palin cure
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2960670/posts
No!
Nah! Sorry, Rick.
You need to run for something — and win it.
You are just another footnote in the annals of also rans.

It would make sense to turn to Sarah as the alternative to the GOP machine. Not sure about repeating the abuse she received by the Leftwing.
The 2016 candidate should be equipped with the figurative tire iron.
I am telling ya, the Repubs establishment better get their head out of Karl Roves ass and consider what the heck just blew them to smithereens! They are toast, gone, kaput, notta dust. Whew were the 6.6 million that didn’t vote? Well, now that need to address that question and how they plan on redeeming most of the 49.4% because I am done, exhausted,. I need a freakin poly sci Detox! I need this stuff crapped out me to the extent that I have a new mind to think clearly. While the GOP is picking up their ass off the walls, the Tyranical left is attacking daily. So, i can’t take it anymore. I need to paint a picture or take yoga man. :-)
Read My Lips, “No Retreads!”
Agreed!

Oh my... Dole, McCain, Romney now Santorum, will they ever find love and acceptance, everyone sing! "It's My Turn!"
Rick’s a good guy. But the way the electorate is now, were gonna need someone with massive charisma to win. Rick ain’t got it.
I could not tell you their thought process. Or what guides them. I just know I won't be duped again. I can't be invested and watch the communists steal another election. I'd rather just watch as a non-participant. Hopefully, from a foreign shore somewhere, god willing.
Scott Walker or Bust!
I like Santorum. He is a decent man.
No, he didn’t win last time. Neither did any conservative. We’re blaming him for the fact that the GOP would not support any conservative. The problem isn’t Santorum, imperfect conservative though he may be. The problem is the GOP which is trying to find its niche as a slightly classier slightly cheaper DNC. The GOP is embarrassed of its conservative rank and file. They can’t win without us, but they really don’t like us.
In fact, I think they’d almost rather lose than win as a conservative party.
I’m not ready to jump to a new party but I’m open to it. Either the tea party firms up its grip on the GOP or there is no point in continuing to resuscitate its brain-dead carcass. I’ve no interest in being a member of a Discount DNC.
I’m looking for who among conservative politicians is prepared to fight. During the early days of O’s administration, a small handful of conservative voices kept the flame alive while Romney fine-tuned his position papers. The GOP ignored its fighters and chose the guy who was AWOL all during the fights that mattered.
Lets see who fights. Thats the person I’ll back in 2016. So far I haven’t seen any evidence the GOP is up for a fight. They just layed down for massive electoral fraud and said nothing, and they just reelected John Boehner. I don’t think they are up for a fight, so its time to look past them. They are hopeless.
Uh, Rick Santorum won TWO TERMS in the Senate for the State of PA, or did you miss that?
He was in 2nd place in the Republican primary races, with NO ONE close behind him, and would have won if
Additionally, in 1990, at age 32, Santorum was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1990 to represent Pennsylvania's 18th congressional district by pulling off a significant upset in the heavily Democratic district, defeating seven-term Democratic incumbent Doug Walgren by a 51%49% margin. Although the 18th District was redrawn for the 1992 elections, and the new district had a 3:1 ratio of registered Democrats to Republicans, Santorum still won re-election with 61% of the vote.
So, explain to us again how Santorum needs to beat someone? But then, I'll bet you thought Romney was just the perfect candidate, didn't you?
And then try to explain the bizzaro universe you're living in.
Yap, I will take Gov Palin candidacy anyday over recycled Santorum who lost by a whopping margin in his senate bid.
The GOP is on a slow death watch. Not a good thing and they will never see it coming. Too bad though, they had so many chances and continued to listen to those beltway GOP folks.
That’s okay though, because we will have the last laugh...or election so to speak. Wonder who will be the next major party to confront the Republicans (or replace them)?
Lay out your scenario to victory.
So where do we go?
I dunno. I’m still waiting for that wormhole to give me access to another planet.
I do know one thing, we must all hang together in the general election, even if we don't like the chosen candidate and we must do something about fraud.
No way in hell I would support Santorum.
I’m sorry but I seriously wonder about people who send money to politicians anymore. Don’t they get enough from lobbyists?
If it’s anyone’s turn it is Palin’s unless she doesn’t want it!
If you have the answer to defeating the RAT, what is it? Get specific.
You got that right.
Santorum would never make it.
Oh. Hell. No.
Santorum is an arrogant, obnoxious jerk. And don’t be fooled by his “conservatism.” He isn’t all that conservative. He is an establishment Republican.
Having a bunch of kids doesn’t make a person conservative.
At least you’re willing to admit you don’t know unlike many others here on FR who continue to talk big but are very short on specifics.
She made McCain’s loss much less than what it would’ve been, exit polls prove that. She won nearly every election she participated in as the sole candidate (with the exception of lieutenant governor) and millions of little people like me will fund raise and volunteer for her with enthusiasm. That goes a long way.
Who is "they"? The GOP "establishment" certainly was not supporting Santorum. Why do people keep blaming the "establishment" for everything that's gone wrong in their lives.
Santorum is just not a good candidate and he will never be President. He's known exclusively as a social issues guy and would never be able to avoid the trap of talking about cracking down porn, why contraception is "not okay", etc. One thing is for sure, Rick was never the "establishment" candidate in this last presidential race. If anything, Santorum was a grass roots social conservative alternative.
Didn’t do much good for Romney in Wisconsin. Where were all those Walker voters that defeated the left during the recall?
Santorum was kicked out of his Senate seat by a bigger, more history making margin than Christine o’Donnell lost her election, and she wasn’t the incumbent.
Santorum admits that he switched to pro-life for that 1990 race.
Six years later Santorum was endorsing and appearing with his choice for president, Arlen Specter, who was running on a platform to make the GOP pro-abortion.
Santorum was devoted to Specter until Specter was driven from politics, then Santorum became a pro-Romney guy, and sang his praises to the sky.
Santorum is very much like Romney, and even was anti-Reagan and pro-moderate during the Reagan years.
That’s on Romney, not Walker.
I don’t like the primary process, I don’t like the eastern RINO’s being in charge of things, I don’t like the choices we are “offered” (when we are given any at all), I don’t like the go-along and get-along attitude of so many Republicans, I don’t like how they campaign as conservatives when they go with the flow while in office....
oh so many things.
So.. no... I have no idea where we start fixing this stuff.
You may be correct but that does not mean she would be a strong candidate against the RAT. We know their MO—they lie, they deceive, they attack, and they cheat. I no longer believe issues are all that important but unfortunately, I don’t know what is important. Personally, I believe Palin would be a very weak candidate but I also admit I do not know one way or the other. The only two things I do know is that we must all hang together and we must do something about fraud.
We aren’t buying your rino pitch, we heard it enough when you were pushing Romney, I dread to think who you look forward to now.
I don’t like how Republican candidates are willing to take out the long knives against fellow Republicans in a primry but then put them away in the general election. I want to see Democrats decapitated.
oh so true!
Was I pushing Romney in the general? You darned betcha as Romney was light years ahead of Obama.
I did not support Romney in the caucus but I admit he turned into a better candidate than I expected him to be.
You can call me all the names you want but I speak the truth and I speak reality when I say we MUST hang together in the general election. If you know another way to defeat the RAT, I'm more than willing to listen but I see far too many here on FR who are shooting from the hip without stopping to think about long-term consequences.
you have to go after the masons the elites and the skull & bhones secrick societies like ivy league
He won’t make it. He will get eaten alive in the primary. Conservatives need to stand up and demand a tougher candidate.
Having lived in Central Iowa from age 14 until I was 42 (with time out for the Army) I have participated in presidential politics and party fundraising. Enthusiasm beats almost everything else. One must have a serious, viable candidate, of course, which is why all the Ron Paul and Howard Dean enthusiasm went nowhere. There are already organizations set-up and purpose-built to support former Gov. Sarah Palin in a presidential race. Can the same be said for former Senator Rick Santorum, former Governor Jeb Bush or the other likely 2016 candidates?
Could it be that our Republican politicians continue to lie and continue the way toward collapse of our economy? Nah, they are so much better than the Democrats! After all, it will take many more years before America collapses with the Republicans. Hey, we have a majority in the House so I’d expect that they would hold the fort against the destruction of our economy. Dream on!
Really, do you actually think that the Republicans are doing anything that perpetuates the U.S. Constitution? After all, they were only elected to uphold the same - not like they should actually care or anything...
It will take another party or a MAJOR change to prevent the destruction of this Country.
IT IS NOBODIES DAMN TURN!!!!!! These people need to earn our votes.
