It's Rick Santorum Turn: Rick Is asking Texans for Donations
The stuff between my ears | 11/21/2012 | Myself

Well, it didn't take long, I just received a call from a Rick Santorum donation Pac. "Are upset by the election results?...So am I...blahh blah , blah.... with Your CASH, We can stop Obama..... we can make history....." Uhh, wasn't that have suppose to happen TWO WEEKS AGO!!!!!!!!! (that was a scream from the roof top). I read another Freerers thread mentioning how the GOP seems to hand out "POTUS Turns" to these guys. It was Bushs turn, then McCain, Then Romney, what now, Santorum? COME ON MAN!! I AM THROUGH WITH GOP!! The next person up for 2016 is gonna have to be an outside the beltaway Plumbers crack simpleton who can do a better job than any of these BOZOS! The best thing these men can do is throw there money at defeating their own GOP washington elites that hold conservatism hostage. This election exposed them for what they are, FOOLS. Fool me once (2008) Shame on you, Fool me twice (2012) shame on ME. The Republican party has HUGE problem on their hands because the 2012 general election just cost them 49.4 % of the votes!!! Hey Rick, Hey Jeb, Hey Marco, Hey Krispy Kreme, GOOD luck trying. Don't waste your time, it aint YOU! (Pissed off, YA THINK!)

I am not saying that I agree with it. I am just saying that it will happen. I am not a big fan of racial/ethnic politics either.

Couldn’t agree more—it looks hopeless unless we get our young people out of the public schools.

Yeah, he is our village idiot. We would happily give him to somewhere else.

“I have no clue where we go from here...”

The things that come to my mind are closed primaries and primary voting for every state on the SAME day. Lots of red states are discounted during the primaries. No offense to any early primary voting state..but I get a little tired of it.

As much as I hate that primary/presidential candidates feel compelled to go on popular tv programs (I’m a geezer that feels it demeans the position) we are going to have to move forward with the time. We need someone who reflects our position and can relay them in a popular medium.

I didn’t see you win the election either, but I did see you pressing the rino line, and now only 2 weeks after your man was humiliated, you are already pushing the rino line again.

You have already started the process of speaking out against conservative possibilities, while reminding everyone to stay loyal to which ever rino your party nominates, just like the carcass you guys dragged in 2 weeks ago.

Well, we have to work within the framework that currently exists.

That framework can’t change?

You're being ridiculous. Where have I EVER pushed the RINO line? What RINO line? You could not be more wrong.

I think we are working toward the same goal, we disagree on strategy. Frankly, I don't see you have a strategy.

Name one conservative about which I have spoken out. You refuse to look at the facts.

It will probably be pretty hard but it’s fine with me.

Absolutely not! We have to make dramatic changes! It will take many folks but it can be done.

“Well, we have to work within the framework that currently exists.”

Talk about a non conservative reply...geez, Just what framework are you talking about - our losing voting framework or our GOP framework?

Really, not sure what you are talking about but almost nothing you can say could be true at this point but it would be nice for the party.

I think that you understand why the Republican lost...and it was not due to his Conservative views.

Why make me start over, just read what I already posted.

To: Conservativegreatgrandma
I’ve read enough of your rino pleadings to last me a life time, even now, after Romney’s embarrassing loss to Carter II, you make the same plea to be moderate, to avoid the conservative Palin, to support the ticket no matter who it is.

I dread to think of who you guys are going to come up with next time.

The Romney crowd never apologized or looked sheepish, not even for a day, they just went right back into the rino dance.

Romney was so far left, and so far outside of republican politics, and so hostile to conservatism, that I hope he hasn’t destroyed the party’s brand completely.

Yes, they were the normal Republican party defense. They were wrong and are wrong in their analyses. I still hope that one day they will recognize that they are actually Conservatives...what a joke that would be on them!

Unfortunately, that is normal for the Republicans. We have NOT had a Conservative party for years. Even the Conservative candidates seem to hide their views when necessary for election...geez. So no, I have no hope or desire to change things - the election shows that most folks are ignorant and will vote for benefits. Therefore, we are doomed for the future.

Romney and his crowd - well, there were a very few Constitutionalists hanging in there but it won’t last unfortunately. We are on a downward spiral and it will not be pretty.

Unfortunately, our basic GOP media folks have already destroyed any conservative prospects of the party. Heck, I doubt that they even knew that a Conservative branch existed even though it was a majority block. They are stupid that way...

I expect another candidate that will get at least 30% of the vote if they spend a couple billion dollars. Not this time folks!

Actually, the Republicans have destroyed themselves long before this...

Santorum will not earn us a single vote from tribal voters, and offers nothing to Independents. He is beloved by some Republicans but loathed by others. He is a big fish in a much-too-small pond, and that's all he ever will be. That is as obvious as obvious gets.

Out to pasture or under the bus, just so Santorum GOES.

Romney should have had 5 or 10 million more votes than McCain, against the second term of Carter.

So who were these missing 6.6M white voters, why did they leave Obama, and why didn't they vote gop? That should at least be looked into, right?
