We were driving on Blanco Road South of Loop 1604 around 10:10PM, and suddenly Fire trucks from all parts of town were responding to an apparantly huge fire. As we reached a high point as we traveled to the south, we could see a large fire approximately 6 miles away to the east with flames reaching several hundred feet in height. It appeared to be East of I-35
Still no news on the local radio stations. Anyone closer to the fire that has more details?? We don't want to make the situation worse by trying to get closer.
Bump
someone trying to deep fry a turducken??
I have relatives in the area, keep us updated.
Just turned on the local SA news - house fire - fully engulfed. House was vacant. Arson inv on scene.
LOL! Oh man...I love FReeprs.
The plume was huge, it must have been a big house!
A turducken retains moisture and an attempt to deep fry... and well... it’s like a giant popcorn when things go wrong.... very very wrong.
This is actually how they set off the first nuclear reactions in the desert before they developed the primers. “Trinity” had been the name of the first turkey used this way. “Manhatten” was the duck, and of course you don’t name chickens, that’d be silly.
:p
Did anyone contact the Butterball Turkey Hotline?
Meth lab.
