Im not a religious person. I believe religion is at the root of most conflicts. It is the opiate of the masses. Sadly, I'm guessing they would be Obama voters if they had moved to the USA instead of Canada.

Put it this way, Ruda interjects, if someone were to tell me a story like ours, I would never believe it. Im not a religious person. I believe religion is at the root of most conflicts. It is the opiate of the masses. But I have seen where religion has helped some people. I can only envy that. And I will concede that if there is a he or she up there, they certainly took care of us.How sad that they have lived such long lives without thoroughly realizing the reason. Oh well. HE is patient.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
