Turkeys can fly. They roost in trees. How do ya think they get up there, climb? LOL Wild turkeys can. Domesticated turkeys from a turkey farm, with their wings clipped? Not so much.

What ruins the show for me now is knowing that Howard Hesseman is a Commie Moonbat of the highest order.

Tim Conway goes off script on the Carol Burnette Show, and talks about a circus elephant.

“Wild turkeys - - - - - DO fly away when he gets close. They are just a little more adept at flying than chickens.”
Wild turkeys shared my former home in a bit of northern Idaho forest. I was amazed at how quickly they could throw themselves into the air and fly, even those only a few months old, at great speed and for long distances, mostly gliding, of course.

Wild turkeys wonder onto my property all the time. When my dog chases them they DO fly away when he gets close. They are just a little more adept at flying than chickens. And some of my chickens can fly a fair distance.
I second that, have seen wild turkeys sitting up in tree branches, unless they climbed...I assume they flew up there :)

So sometimes I gotta step over the dog pile to reach the lilies. If it were up to me, Hollywood would be burned to the ground tonight, but it ain't up to me.

Obviously PETA activists lifted the turkeys into the trees to prevent you from harming them!
The activists will return later and get the turkeys down.

I think it was Ben Franklin that wanted to make the turkey the national bird, because of their intelligence.

WKRP was one of my favorites, you got the sense that the writers and actors were at their ‘A’ game and it just rocked along. Unlike M*A*S*H where they made Frank Burns both the fall-guy and conservative, you never got the idea that the designated foils, Arthur Carlson or Herb Tarlek, were political and the humor was gentle where it wasn’t slapstick.

I asked Lil Miss this morning where bf was and she said he went to Cincinnati for Thanksgiving. I couldn’t resist asking if he was going to the great turkey drop. As God is my witness, I thought my joke would fly... it flew like a turkey.

All I can say about the show is Jan Smithers....mmmmmm, mmmm, mmmmmm.
Ooooh yeah. In some ways she was sexier than Loni, and she had a set of hips that just wouldn't quit :)
