Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 FREE after rebate!
Fatwallet.com ^ | November 23, 2012 | Me, Myself, and I

Just got my new 2013 version of Kaspersky Internet Security from Frys.com. It's the best anti-virus, anti-malware software I've ever used. And if you print out the rebate coupon and then send it in with the URL cut out of the box, you get it for FREE! That's my best Black Friday buy.

How can you beat FREE, especially on such a great product?

Well, I hear that McAfee is now available with a year's supply of hallucinogens...

FYI Kaspersky is pretty closely affiliated with Russian Defense, Intelligence, and Security services.

Lol! Packed in a pretty bath salt box I bet!

I wouldn’t be surprised if Norton gave their crap away free, with a lifetime guarantee that you would NEVER ever be able to remove it from your PC.

I have gotten burned by so many rebates that don’t pay up (especially the deceased Comp*USA, but even products like Snapple) that I will not consider a promised rebate in my purchase of products.

I concur compUSA was famous for their bogus rebate offers. I also had one refused.

Don’t. Eugene is pushing for internet users to have to have a government internet license. Don’t gimme the “great product” cr*p.

There’s TWO products out there acceptable for conservatives:

Avast and Malwarebytes.

The others are jihadis, farlefties or even computer criminals.

They all claim to be the best. Fact of the matter is, not one are 100% effective. None are better than the other in my opinion.

I recommend AVG. It’s free and doesn’t annoy you every 5 minutes with a “warning” or some other crap pop-up reminding you to do this or that.

I never trusted McAfee after they were successfully sued in the late 90s for stealing the code for Norton Antivirus and using it as their own (a disgruntled employee left Symantec and stole as much as he could on the way out).

McAfee counter-sued with a $1 billion defamation suit, which was quickly thrown out of court and shows what a nutjob he was back then, too.

No doubt. Great if it happens, but I’m not counting on it.

I’ve used Kaspersky a couple years now and have been real happy with it. It works and doesn’t slow me down like Norton, which doesn’t work.

I've used Kasperski (KIS) for as long as I can remember owning virus protection and have always been pleased.

That said, I also use Malwarebytes to keep stuff out that slips by Kasperski.

I’ve been using Microsoft’s Security Essentials http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/security-essentials-download for years without a problem. And it’s free.

I finally got tired of all the comparison shopping and opted to use Windows Defender AV/Firewall. Haven’t had any problems in over a year, but I also practice “safe inter....netting”.

I’ve been using Kaspersky for years and it seems to catch stuff that Norton and Macafee used to let march right through. And, with this rebate, it’s ALSO free!

Me too, it’s undoubtedly the best MS product I’ve ever used. (maybe that’s a underhanded compliment)
