Activists drone shot out of the sky for fourth time
First word of title is: ‘Protesters’
Why do we assume that people can do anything in the name of “protest”? Why can’t we counter-protest by shooting their stupid drone down? If I saw a drone hovering over me, I’d shoot it down too.
LOOKS LIKE A PIGEON TO ME!
I’d say it was an honest mistake. It looks like a pigeon to me...
Right. I think the real purpose of the 'copter is to annoy the hunters and scare off the pigeons.
Oops. Maybe they shouldn’t fly their little RC video contraption into the line of fire during a pigeon shoot on private property. That would make sense to most minimally sentient beings.
You know those state police are just giggling inside...
Those drones aren’t cheap. Some really dumb activist is losing some serious money.
If it flies it dies ,hunting club after all
You can hear the damm thing from a mile away so you can lock and load and - ready - aim - Fire!

after shooting did the pigeon shooters then stomp any possible usable parts into shards?
I would have.
Good shooting with a rifle!
2banana~:” You know those state police are just giggling inside...”
Drones don’t bleed ; therefore “no blood , no foul “
Counter claim : we won’t prosecute for ‘invasion of privacy’ , or ‘ criminal trespass’ .
that would be a shotgun not a rifle.
Mmmmm... drones. The other white plastic!
[”It was a single shot. It was after the shoot, and it hit an aircraft that was 400 plus feet in the air,” said Hindi. “That’s not an accident.”]
Considering this drone was moving that’s a pretty good shot. However Hindi has no idea how many shots were fired at the thing before it was hit.
I’m wondering what the FAA rules are for drone operators.
"The shoot was over with. They were packing up and then came a single rifle shot because when they're shooting the pigeons they shoot two shots at a time," explained Steve Hindi, president of SHARK.
