That's funny. The only guy I know going to Clemson comes from a New England city, and is there on partial goldf scholarship. Conservative, but no red neck, and has probably never even sat in a tractor. I thoght he was a business major.

The crowd noise at LSU’s “Death Valley” really discombobulated the Cocks—hopefully Spurrier held loud noise practices THIS time cause tomorrow half of Clemson will have laryngitis from all the hollering that's gonna happen tonight...

...gonna be a helluva game.

Clemson is a fine university but on game day they are the enemy and thus stupid, dumb and dork.

Why do Clemson fans wear orange?

So that they can support their team on Saturday, go hunting on Sunday and pick up roadside trash on Monday.

You DO know that the Yale-Harvard matchup goes back MUCH farther.

USC and Carolina reside in Columbia SC—football is everything and the SEC has only the NFL as an equal...

...no brag just fact.

Is that “consecutive years?”

True,Harvard and Yale have been playing football since Moses invented the sport but there must have been an interruption somewhere.

She graduated from Clemson in 2010. Still flies in a couple of times a year to attend the games, and sees the team here when they play BC.

I still remember all the kind notes and offers of hospitality I received from other freepers who live in the Clemson/Greenville area. They are a special group.

My youngest daughter attends another one of the USC campuses.

Before Spurrier Clemson stomped us on a regular basis—I'm sure even “Clem's (Caddidlehopper) sons” like it that the games are more competitive now.

And they have been competing in crew since Noah.

Consecutive since 1945. WWII was a bit of an interruption. Entire NFL teams took time off then. The Steelers and Eagles merged for 1944 to be the Steagles, but I wouldn't question the teams' continuity on that basis. Anyway, there have been 129 matchups vs. 122 for Gophers-Badgers (109 for Clemson-Carolina).

Army/Navy have also had more matchups than SC/Clemson..the OP is hanging his hat on ‘consecutive’ matchups.

BTW...I went to grafe school with Dabo..go Clemson!

Breaking news out of Columbia...Columbia News Report: Football practice in Columbia was delayed on Friday for nearly two hours. One of the offensive players, while on his way to the locker room, happened to look down and notice a suspicious looking, unknown, white powdery substance on the practice field. The head coach, Steve Spurrier, immediately suspended practice while the FBI was called in to investigate. After a complete field analysis, the FBI determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line. Practice was resumed when the FBI decided that the team would not be likely to encounter the substance again.

Go TIGERS!!!!!!

I was going to go to the movies tonight, but don’t feel like getting caught in the traffic jam on 123 or 76.

I agree, the statement was such an obvious fact as to be quite droll.
