Notre Dame (1) v USC Thread - 8pm EST ABC TV. If Notre Dame wins they will play for the National Championship, as unfair as that might seem.

Notre Dame's strength of schedule
ranks 40th among FBS teams. Yeah, the Irish have beaten Michigan, Stanford, and Oklahoma, but the rest of the schedule has been fairly cushy. (Undefeated Ohio State has the 42nd-ranked schedule.)

A: They will tell you. LOL...I had a couple living next to me years ago, and that was the ONLY thing I knew about them...didn't even know their names.

Whoever ND plays it is about the biggest game of the year for them. The opponent will be playing the game of their lives but for ND its just one more game they have to win..

I don’t care who beats a California team, I just want to see them all lose. In every sport and event.

Whoever ND plays it is about the biggest game of the year for them. The opponent will be playing the game of their lives but for ND its just one more game they have to win.. I think I can agree with the first sentence, but not the second. Not tonight, anyway. With a national championship game on the line, there's definitely more pressure on ND than on 7-4 USC, which is nowhere to be found in the BCS rankings.
