Exactly... -or- Lindsey Graham.. which he would lose to Joe Bidens first term.. with the Hildebeast as VeeP.. and then after a couple months the Beast would have Biden snuffed by a crazed right wing protestor..

Sure... but it’ll be an otherwise token candidacy with a limited objective of fundraising for and helping down-ticket GOPers.
The tipping point has passed. Record numbers of welfare, food stamp and disability recipients, along with skyrocketing numbers of hispanics will keep the White House in the dems’ hands. That’s not going to change.
Oh, they'll go through the motions as the GOPe continues its longstanding practice of finding the next old guy to honor with a 6-month moment in the sunshine. The "media" will do their damnedest to give an appearance of closeness.
Then along will come November and, well... you know the rest.
You picked my top choice combination for ability and experience, but I'm looking for a second choice that is (1) electable in the primaries (Newt can't get the nomination even against as weak a candidate as Romney), (2) conservative (what's the point in electing a professional politician who wears a "GOP" jersey but doesn't believe in conservatism, such as Chris Christie?), and (3) willing (what's the point in hoping for Sarah unless and until she announces that she is willing?).

If you still intend to back ANY GOP candidate ever again, you’re crazy! I will never again vote. Want my reasons? The GOP, all Republican politicians, Dole, McCain, Romney. No more money, no more votes. It’s finished. The country is finished. Never again! Never!!
