This might come as a shock, but companies, when they lay-off employees, tend to lay-off the best (and most expensive). And the ones who remain are doubly ticked-off because they have to do twice the work.

Their customer service has sucked for years. Companies do not fire their least payed employees in economic down turns. They fire their least competent employees. I have been thru multiple layoffs and still have my job. My current coworkers and I have betted on who would get the axe. It was always the lazy ass that wasn’t doing his job.
I think Dicks has a problem with their business model and a complete lack of understanding of their customers.
