Murphy’s first law hasn’t met this guy yet.

“If anything can go wrong, it will”.

Hopefully, hell retire from what he does before Murphy catches up to him.

Soon they’ll be saying, “At least he died doing what he loved.”

“If anything can go wrong, it will”.

"...and at the worst possible time."...to complete Mr. Murphys Law.

Hope he stop climbing soon.

Nice kid, no ego.

Needs to find a lady to cool his jets.

My next scheduled climb without a rope, will be ....into bed.

“Laura Logan was brave too.. Or is that ‘stupid’?”

It’s ok because it wasn’t RAPE rape.

But it WAS an assault of an African-American woman....

Climbers have always amazed me. I’ve spent a lot of time in Yosemite and watched them, but never felt the urge. This guy is so far beyond what even talented rope climbers do it is amazing. I hope we don’t hear a sad story about him one day. Maybe he’ll lose interest and have a good life running a rock gym somewhere.

Yeah, well you should’ve seen me on that step ladder putting up the Christmas lights! You won’t find any wimpy ‘chalk bucket’ on my belt.

As a former rock climber, I will make the most important observation:

There are no old free-climbers.

I did a little climbing in college. Nothing like this, nothing more than a couple hundred feet - with ropes, always. If memory serves, I needed those ropes at least twice.

Like the other guy they interviewed said, of all the people that have made a habit of doing big free climbs, about half of them are dead. Not good odds for retiring from the sport...
