You'd think being a rock superstar would earn Steven Tyler a modicum of respect. Not quite.
Tyler recently critiqued current "American Idol" judge Nicki Minaj, saying the rap star would likely vote down a young Bob Dylan if he tried out for the show.
Current judge Nicki Minaj responded with a vulgar Twitter tirade:
"You assume that I wouldn't have liked Bob Dylan???" Minaj responded via Twitter. "Why? black? rapper? what? go **** yourself and worry about yourself babe."
"I understand you really wanted to keep your job [on Idol] but take that up with the producers," she continued. "I would have sent Bob Dylan to a cornfield??? Steven, you haven't seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet! That's a racist comment Lets make [Steven] a shirt that says 'No Coloreds Allowed' then escort him down 2 Barbara Walters so he can tell [her] how he was threatened w/guns."
Racist?
Tyler went on to say his "American Idol" crew, which included black judge Randy Jackson and Latina Jennifer Lopez, would have given someone like Dylan the green light.
Is the pop culture world condemning Minaj for her cruel comments and incendiary accusation?
Nope.
Is Tyler slinking away and apologizing for offending Minaj?
Yup.
It's standard operating procedure in the Age of Obama. The race card can fit virtually any situation, and you don't need facts to back it up. Chris Matthews can call Mitt Romney supporters racist without proof and keep his gig. Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns can savage the Tea Party as racist without proof and retain his standing in film circles.
So when Minaj fired off her angry retort, she knew she would face no backlash. In fact, she could have predicted Tyler, a rock legend, would quickly apologize for doing nothing wrong.
didn’t she threaten to knife another judge and her children??
How is she not in prison if that was true?
Typical of them. Not surprised. Walking filth.
These people can turn ANY phrase into alleged racism!
Isn't this from a "Twilight Zone" episode with that kid from "Lost in Space"?
“didnt she threaten to knife another judge and her children?? How is she not in prison if that was true?”
It’s not who she knows. It’s who she blows.
The race card is the doomsday device that has destroyed our country—from “affirmative action” sub-prime loans that started the American economical collapse to Marxist Obama who has expedited it the race card played by honkey hating racist blacks and self-loathing whites has become an America destroyer though none dare call it so...
I remember when he did Walk This Way with Run-DMC, he was gushing about how it was breaking down barriers. Meanwhile, one of them was complaining about having to use the original lyrics. “I didn’t want to have to rap that hillbilly gibberish!” If we’re going to call everything racist, how is that not? “He’s white, therefore he’s a hillbilly.” I think Yonkers and Boston is about as far away as you can get from hillbilly country. If you’ll notice, they use that one as code language (as Chrissy might say) all the time.
This, my FRiends, is what Political Correctness (courtesy of the Clintons) has gotten us.
Everything that a black person doesn’t like from a white is racist because, after all, according to these dimwits, only whites are genetically programmed to be racists!!
As much as I detedt zero, you can’t lay this one at his feet. This is all Clinton; Bubba and his husband, HitLIARy.
Both Minaj and Tyler are hacks screamers.. as well as Jackson an empty suit like Obama....
Jennifer is on the edge..
Agree. Most of these black "super"-stars are racist a**holes. We need more common-sense stars like Bill Cosby and Sinbad, who never swore and were color neutral. Minaj is the real racist here.
American Idol is doomed this year.
The apology was by far the more stupid event —craven and cowardly.
A perfect nutshell for the culture vs. multiculturalism meeting; victimhood meets cowardice, a perfect symbiosis.
Blacks are not going to stop playing the race card - (where guilt substitutes for competence) - until WE tell them enough is enough... Takes two to tango - even a toxic dance that hurts both races...
This puts the Freaks on notice that the race card will be played on them too.

This situation has crossed a point of no return; rather than be treated as grownups on equal footing with whites (and browns and yellow), too many blacks (and their “leaders” - both white & black) have made it clear that nobody should have no expectations of them at all. If they fail at anything, then racial bias made the task impossible; if they speak English as three year-old children, then English has a bias against blacks (despite the real proficiency of many British blacks I’ve met that put this argument to rest).
I for one am tired; I will oblige them. I expect nothing from them at all.
See # 15. They win; we’ll expect nothing of them (if anyone still WAS expecting anything).
I learned a more polite way to state that; It’s not who she knows, it’s who she yes’s. LOL
Because you're a racist!!
Because you're a racist!!
I hope I come across Steven Tyler at the beach sometime - I'll be sure to kick some sand in his face.
Pathetic.
she would be a great reason if one chose to be a racist!
Steven Tyler just got his balls cut off.
Thought you had a pair, Steve.
This is where Tyler should`ve retorted, “Hey, bitch... STFU and stop playing that chicken-sh*t racial game like so many of you do and grow up. You are NEVER going to reach my level, no matter how much ghetto trash you spew.”
The race-baiters are taking on the bully role. Until they get hard, direct pushback, it`s only going to get worse.
Ted Nugent wouldn`t have taken that sh*t from the likes of her. They know not to tangle with him.
“Sheesh... She’s black? Color me embarrassed. I thought she was white.”
That woman is a talentless, anti- Christian, anti-Catholic loon, and serves to show how low American Idol has sunk. Who produces this show anyway?
Reminds me of Mel Brooks' Robin Hood, Men in Tights:
"A Black Sheriff?"
"Why not, it worked in Blazing Saddles!"
Now there was a guy who could turn this PC crap on its head, and I defy anyone to call him a racist!
I love Cosby....I’ve watched him since I was a boy, and I’m pushing 60....but make no mistake. The man has a strong racist string running through him. He built a career out of hiding that and just being funny as hell, but he doesn’t have much love for whitey.
His saving grace, to my mind, is that he’ll be hard on “urban blacks” as well, making fun of their speech, language, intelligence....or should I say, lack thereof.
Idol is on its last legs.
Keith Urban could be a smart pickup but the feuding between Mariah Carey and Minaj will finally kill the show.
Too many blacks can’t take criticism because they feel they should always stand on that moral high ground due to past discrimination, regardless of the circumstance or the truth. It is a crutch they are allowed to keep that lifts too many blacks higher in society than they deserve as it is not based on their talent or intelligence. It also allows them to discriminate with impunity and attack anyone who calls them out. Obviously, Nikki sucks at her job but won’t be called on it.
This is one of those freaks of modern culture that I would never have heard of, save for it being shoved randomly in my face on a news website or FR or some such.
I don't know what it sounds like or what it does exactly, but it looks like something created for the sole purpose of being cast headlong into the abyss.
Her “music” is the epitome of suckage.
What is a ‘Nicky Minaj’?
