Voting "present" on Obama/'Rat agenda
Posted on 11/30/2012 12:12:32 PM PST by LiberConservative
The airwaves were filled today with conservative pundits all talking about the GOP, in a no-win situation only have one option: voting "present" on anything and everything Obama and the 'Rats throw at them. I like the wisdom of this approach. Falling off the "fiscal cliff" will hurt this country, but appearing to bargain in the process will only harm the people that are willing and able to fix it later. Anything the GOP does will be used to lay the blame at their feet.
KEYWORDS: gop; present; vanity
Republicans should just walk away.

I agree, let the dems own it....though the R’s will still get blamed somehow.

"Republicans should just walk away."
No. That would be too dramatic. And too easy to point to later. Play the game and just vote "present".
The GOP has been on the losing end since Cal Coolidge.

The media mouthpieces for the Obama administration and the Democrat party will blame Republicans for whatever they do. Better to keep GOP 'fingerprints' off of a tax-raising, job-killing fiscal 'deal' that will further harm the economy. The ensuing damage may wake folks up to the fact that Democrats kill jobs and they don't only tax 'the rich'.
