The Diamonds Are Forever script features Fleming's alterations on almost every page and was prepared by his secretary Ulrica Knowles, a real-life Miss Moneypenny.

A first edition of Fleming's completed novel, with a note from the author to Knowles, is also going under the hammer alongside the manuscript.

The original text includes name changes for some of the key characters in the plot, which tells the story of a diamond smuggling scheme involving American gangsters.

The villain Dolly Kidd was originally called Boofy Gore, after Arthur 'Boofy' Gore, who in reality was a close friend of the famed author.

“There is a huge amount of interest in Ian Fleming and James Bond at present,” said Dr Gabriel Heaton, a literature specialist at Sotheby’s, who is conducting the auction.

Duh the oldest movie franchise celebrating it’s 50 yrs and their might be interest.
I had the chance of buying a Star Wars light saber from the movie back in early 90’s for $500 and passed on it.I don’t even want to think how much it would be worth now.

Rare James Bond manuscript with Ian Fleming notes to fetch £80,000 ($129,000)...well, but there's only one of these in existence so it's hard to tell just how much it's worth and it might not sell very quickly and we've got to make something off of it too - so the guys on "Pawn Stars" will offer 25 dollars.......

Smack her one for me. ;p

At least it is not as bad as Walter White from “Breaking Bad”. He sold his shares in what would become a multi-billion dollar company for a few months rent, completely explains why is an a-hole.
