Now that gay and lesbians are allowed to marry each other, or esteemed mayor has a new proposal. He wants to give each gay and lesbian that marries $90.00 a month as retrabution for crimes the city acted upon them for not allowing them to get married in the past. This payment could go on for their lifetime and is taken out of the general fund. In otherwords, taypayer money. My bet is, the new kooky d'RAT governor is going to see this and will think the whole state should be doing this as well.
If that happened here, my wife and I would suddenly become gay. $180/month? It helps.

Well, at first I thought they were opening the door to more welfare fraud, but it doesn’t work if you think about it. The welfare queens have to stay unmarried to get their larger payments from the feds, so if they pretended to be gay to get another check, they would end up losing money. I suppose that it could work for single guys, but I doubt many hetero guys, no matter how “tolerant” they are, want to go all Chuck & Larry for 90 bucks a month.

City of Seattle likely to give marriage stipend to same-sex couples
SEATTLE — Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn is expected to announce new benefits for gay and lesbian city employees who get married under Washington’s new marriage equality laws.
According to reports, gay and lesbian city employees will receive a monthly stipend to cover healthcare expenses for their spouse. McGinn and city council members are expected to announce the plan at a press conference Wednesday.
The city already offers health coverage to same-sex couples, and the money will go to offset federal income and payroll taxes that gay couples must pay on their health coverage due to the Defense of Marriage Act. Same sex couples are taxed at around 15 percent for the coverage, where opposite sex couples are not subject to the taxes on their healthcare benefits.
McGinn hinted at the new plan for allowances during a press conference Tuesday for Seattle seawall construction updates.
“If the federal government has an unjust law, I don’t think it’s fair to punish our workers who are following all the rules,” McGinn said. “So those are the types of things that we are looking at, but we’ll have an announcement tomorrow and we’ll go through that.”
More than anything, McGinn said, he wanted to be fair to all employees.
“We have a statement here from the City of Seattle and voters of the state of Washington that’s not yet reflected at the federal level and that’s something that I think we are duty bound to respond to in a meaningful way to be fair to our own employees.”
According to Mynorthwest.com, gay couples will receive an allowance of $90 a month. Currently, there are 150 city employees who have a same-sex spouse enrolled in the city-provided health plan. The benefit to gay couples will cost the taxpayers an estimated $162,000 a year, Mynorthwest reported, with expenses already worked into the city’s 2013-2014 budget.
Did you notice that a photo I.D. is required for a marriage license. Obviously an attempt to bar blacks and hispanics from getting married!

Let us play psychiatrist. It’s easy, those crazy quacks do it everyday. The people running this country do not live in reality. They believe you can spend more than you make into eternity without negative consequences. It’s not just them, but “leftists” and other utopians (libertarians, monarchists, anarchists, “transgenders” etc) that live in a fantasy world.
It might be mommy or daddy’s fault. Maybe they really wanted a girl and they had you instead (or whatever) so they put all their hopes and dreams on you, forcing you to comply at least outwardly while on the inside you coped by creating your own world. “I’m a girl”, “I’m a boy”, “I’m a cat”, “I’m superman”.
Imagine mommy and daddy and psychonuts and “counselors” who said Yes, honey, you really are a cat. They go to court to have the school allow you to attend as a cat, to change the dress code so you can wear a collar with a little bell. They tell the world that you really are a cat because you wanted to be a cat. The demand laws be passed for Cat Identity types to be declared “normal”...
Your environment (mom, dad, school, pyschoworkers, therapists and politic activists) has conditioned a weak, defenseless you to be taken and molded into a person who demands the world tell him he really is a cat, that reality be denied just to make you feel normal. You need this because you have been conditioned to not be normal.
These people with Fantasy Indentity Behaviors (FIB) are suffering from a lack of association with the real world, there has got to be some therapy to fix. Real World Association (RWA) links that were broken by Cognitive Traumatic Stress (CTS) such as you described need to be realigned.
Attempting to change reality to fit their Fantasy Identity Altered Environment (FIAE) is a recipe for disaster. Okay, I will admit that some of these past therapists meant well because they wanted to make it possible for the patient to associate with the real world even in an altered way but this is not working well at all. For anyone.
You cannot change reality to suit their disorder because it is simply impossible to have a different reality for everyone.
We must find a way to change the Fantasy Indentity to one that has some alignment with reality. You do not do this by accomodating the illness instead of the patient. Reinforcing the idea that their Fantasy Indentity is the real one just drives them farther away from getting the help they truly need.

My employer (a large midwest hospital system) just started offering same-sex benefits for employees. I wondered what proof you need to do this as a good friend of mine has to buy her insurance individually and the rates are horrendous. I thought maybe we could pull an Adam Sandler/Kevin James move. But, I would have to document that both our names are on bills and mortages/leases, etc.
Dang....I think this is discrimination. Why not for hetero couples who just don’t want to marry? What about the guy in love with his German Shepherd?
