After last week’s U.N. decision to award Palestine nonmember observer status, Israel vowed to build 3,000 new settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Manzano, who for decades portrayed Maria on “Sesame Street,” taking a hateful page from Hillary Clinton’s playbook, took to Twitter to lash out at Israel for daring to defend its existence:

I disliked Sesame Street from from the first time I saw it as a toddler
I only figured out why as an adult.
What else to expect from a woman who works for a channel owned and operated as a governmental bureaucracy? Can this intellectual expert trace the ancestors of the Palestinians to the Canaanites who were in the land of Canaan before the Israelites got there? If you want to compare the Palestinians to the American Indians than you must also have history on your side to say that they were there first. If you cannot than your analogy is broken and you should research your facts more before commenting on political issues outside of your field of knowledge.

Your description is exactly what came to my mind when I saw the dress. Compared to all the other garish clothes normally seen in celebrity red carpet photos I liked this dress.

She was “Maria” on Sesame Street, but unless you were to see an earlier pic of her, you probably wouldn’t recognize her. I didn’t.
