Posted on 12/05/2012 1:19:25 PM PST by massmike
After last weeks U.N. decision to award Palestine nonmember observer status, Israel vowed to build 3,000 new settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Manzano, who for decades portrayed Maria on Sesame Street, taking a hateful page from Hillary Clintons playbook, took to Twitter to lash out at Israel for daring to defend its existence:
Why do Israelis need to be "recognized" by Palestinians. Did Native Americans need to "recognize" their tormentors?~Sonia Manzano

That dress is amazing.
It looks like a melted hot fudge Sunday.
Oh, and she is stupid as pudding.
Sesame Street: seeing more of the reality behind the “child-friendly” facade.
They’re peddlers of the same old PC garbage, anyway. Another modern kids’ show pushing the same old religion of environmentalism and “diversity”. Nice to see some news come out about how not nice they are.
So she’s proven that she in the uber-bimbo class - as have many others.
So why does anyone give a smelly Obama about what she “thinks”?
Ya know, I’ve had it with politicians, journalists and actors. With few exceptions, all seem to be shining jewels of colossal ignorance. To follow the advice of any would equivalent to allowing the Obamadork to operate on your heart.
As the small amount of fame fades and they get older, this is what a lot of women do to get noticed.
Just another tenured, highly-paid, anti-Semitic, Hollywood Hispanic.
That dress matches the rug.
Nice of her Mom to loan her a runner from the hallway to make a dress.
Sonia, your theory is flawed. There ARE Native Americans. There are NO “Palestinians”.
Lost and soulless.
Bacause, if they don't, nothing short of a decisive military victory by the Israelis will solve the problem.
I disliked Sesame Street from from the first time I saw it as a toddler
I only figured out why as an adult.
What else to expect from a woman who works for a channel owned and operated as a governmental bureaucracy? Can this intellectual expert trace the ancestors of the Palestinians to the Canaanites who were in the land of Canaan before the Israelites got there? If you want to compare the Palestinians to the American Indians than you must also have history on your side to say that they were there first. If you cannot than your analogy is broken and you should research your facts more before commenting on political issues outside of your field of knowledge.
Just more proof that Mitt Romney was right about de funding PBS..bunch of Anti semetic thugs..so this is the propaganda being taught to little kids..that Muslims are peace loving and Jews are the bad ones
liberals are insane
I thought it was a rug I saw on sale at a garage sale
I thought I saw that on sale at a flea market as a rug
Your description is exactly what came to my mind when I saw the dress. Compared to all the other garish clothes normally seen in celebrity red carpet photos I liked this dress.
I remember her! What a hateful person. Who knew?
It doesn’t get consideration, for a nice dress, unless Laz would like/wear it!
That does it! JUST WHAT WE NEEDED! The sage, well-informed advice of a Sesame Street puppet....(obviously operating far below the intelligence level of the character she plays....)
Sesame Street people are vile.
Her dress looks like used toilet paper.
Hey, idiot! Ask Lara Logan who the tormentors are.
Um, Indian tribes are recognized! They have reservations that are considered sovereign land, their own courts, leaders, etc.
And the anti-Israel propaganda campaign continues.
PBS should pay their FAIR SHARE of taxes!
PBS pays ZERO taxes.
end the corporate welfare fore PBS.
the Israelis are the Indians
I hate Sesame Street Nazis.
surprised such a devout lib like maria even lives and works and makes a lot of money in such an awful country.
I’d like to throw her in Oscar’s trash can.
Who was she anyway?
My stepdaughter didn’t like it. Oh well. (Please don’t tell my friends I was discussing dresses on line. They’ll tear up my man card). -)
“Oh, the shame of it all. Oh, the shame of it all.”
“Shame and eternal shame, nothing but shame!”
She was “Maria” on Sesame Street, but unless you were to see an earlier pic of her, you probably wouldn’t recognize her. I didn’t.
