Proponents of ending the ban on women in the military using their health insurance to pay for abortions in cases of rape and incest stepped up the political pressure on Wednesday, insisting that this years defense bill be used to finally lift the prohibition.
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., chief sponsor of a provision in Senate legislation, and two retired Army officers described the current law preventing insurance coverage as morally and economically unfair to the more than 214,000 women serving in the U.S. military. They promised to lobby the chief House and Senate negotiators to end the ban.

Okay, cool... They are getting rid of BAH for E4 over 4 to “save money”, but are expanding the Navy’s green energy program and now looking to subsidize abortion.
But not morally unfair to the thousands of slaughtered unborn and newly born American babies.
When will this ever end? How can any Christian for a minute call himself a Democrat? Disgusting.
Maybe they can pay for boob jobs too!! After all, its not like America is broke or anything! </sarc>

They can call themselves anything they want. The only thing that matters is if Jesus calls the Christians.
The National Party of Death. The more dead Americans, the more for them.
Socialism always likes a good purge, start with the defenseless.
They are mentally ill
America has looked EVIL in the face and embraced it.
My understanding is they already do. The service member just has to pay for the implants themselves and the surgery is covered.
they are missing the point.
Clinton tried to implement abortion on demand in military hospitals and clinics, and the doctors refused to go along. In other words, a lot of them would have quit.
I know that one reason I worked for the feds, the IHS, was that most Native Americans are prolife, and I knew that federal guidelines protected my job if I refused to work to get someone an abortion. (I know of only 3 cases who got abortions in the years I worked with them, and I was not involved: One where the life of the mom was at risk and two because of malformation),
However, Obama has removed the conscience clause from all doctors, and presumably will press all hospitals to provide care in the near future.
Here in the Philippines, Hillary is pressing for abortion/contraception to be made legal, and a lot of American NGO’s are promoting it in the press..
