You can’t be concerned about both? We have an obligation to protect the helpless. I’d say both qualify.
Kindly note that this is a thread about a man who died trying to rescue his cat. There is absolutely no connection to abortion, yet you somehow found it possible to do so. Do you haunt the various threads trying to insert your feelings about abortion?
To quote St. Francis, "If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men."
Perhaps the reason we are so desensitized to the horror of abortion is that too many people failed to place a high enough value on all life.
