Jar Jar binks
Scoobi Doo adding Scrappy-Doo
India Jones vs Aliens
Mummy 3
Like a new wave band embracing guitars & R&B back up singers, it seems everyone forgets that people like things for a reason and changing the formula is stupid.

Awe claims that the Crystal Skull from the film bears a striking resemblance to the Mitchell-Hedges Skull (though as some folks are noting in the comments, those resemblances seem to be that they are both transparent are somewhat skull-shaped; the movie skull is less human) and thus must have been based on its likeness. Awe goes on to allege that Lucasfilm never approached Belize for permission to use the skull's likeness, although Awe claims that "Belize has a right, title and interest in and to the Mitchell-Hedges Skull." Awe is suing the Mitchell-Hedges estates as well as Bill Homann, the late Anna's husband and current custodian of the skull, for the return of the skull, and is suing Lucasfilm (and Disney as the parent company) and Paramount for tortious interference with prospective economic benefit and civil conspiracy. Dan Ackroyd must be shaking in his boots right now!

They must not like hot-linking. Has anyone written a browser plug in to fake the image request source? So the server at tripod.com thinks I'm looking at the image from a tripod page instead of freerepublic.com?

Given the claims surrounding those skulls, the copyrights, if any, expired centuries ago. Unless they have big mouse ears. In that case Disney claims perpetual copyrights (or at least until they stop paying Congressmen to extent the term every ten years).

A dreadful motion picture. but...but, it had a lead lined refrigerator and magnetic gunpowder?
yeah it could have been good, some of it was.... but there was a certain suck factor to it that kept rearing its ugly head...

when I picked up the Blu-ray I sat down to watch it with my 3 boys....now they are all in their 20s but know than Spielberg about the contents of smokeless and black powder. This NY boy and his kids know better as we have many cans and a few 8 lb kegs of various IMR, Winchester and Hercules powder in the reloading room.
we all laughed at the lead lined refrigerator ploy. whether or not it was suppose to be a joke or a plot device...it got a laugh.
