His information is all over the internet including pictures. He is alive. A reporter talked to him as he pulled in his driveway and allegedly was the one to inform him of what had happened.

Am I the only one who is having trouble thinking that this was just some whacko dude who blew a fuse and started shooting?

They reported yesterday that the damage to some of the bodies was so great that they couldn’t ID them, so those parents hadn’t been informed yet, even though they knew their kids hadn’t been handed back to them yet.

Absolutely.

Your government found a guy willing to murder twenty school children, his own mom and then himself...just to make a political point for them.

1. What do you expect from media? They don’t even get their lies straight and you expect cold, hard facts?

2. The ‘Professionals’ (i.e.: the feds) are in control here. The crisis management and investigation are a training exercise. They will give nothing but the minimum leaving idiots in the media to fill air time on their own (see point number one).

3. Children are small and tender. Any wound channel will be far more disasterous than a marginal hit on an adult. Plus, this freak had no opposition in a room of terrified children to select and place his shots (makes me sick just to think about the carnage).

4. Forget any conspiracy theories. Mourn for these innocents. Petition for armed presence in schools. Prepare for an assault on freedom.

5. Take a breather from the media crap and go take a walk.

As a teacher I find our current procedures ridiculous. We're suppose to turn off the lights, lock the classroom door and huddled with the students on the floor. Any idiot is going to know that the students are in school by the backpacks, coats and lunchboxes on the shelves outside, during a normal school day.

I have been lobbying to have a weapon on campus, so it at least gives us a fighting chance to protect the students.

If nothing else get the students out the sliding windows in our room and off the school grounds as as quickly as possible.

The politicians just don’t get it, do they? The more they call for gun control, the more people arm themselves. Attacks on the Second Amendment make the public nervous. Even now, in the wake of this horrible tragedy, we are seeing wave after wave of firearm panic-buying across the country.

I’ve stated on another thread that any administration that would give untraceable weapons to Mexican drug cartels for campaign contributions or support for restrictive 2A laws, knowing that said weapons would be used to kill hundreds, if not thousands of Mexican citizens, and some of our own, would most certainly be capable of “pushing” someone over the edge.
First find someone on heavy prescription doses of anti-depressants,and perhaps been a troublemaker already, and meet with him a few times, maybe give him some more drugs, and convince him what the nature of his problems are.
Someone needs to try to find out everyone who had contact with this shooter for months prior to the shooting, and who they are,and what connection they may have to Obama’s regime.
Just a conspiracy theory? Maybe. Then give me reasons Obama/Holder would not do such a thing.

The media are too willing to report everything that they hear, even if it has no basis in fact. They love to sensationalize and hype so as to create anxiety in the viewer.

I know those who want dictatorship are vicious and I know the press would cover any evidence of such a horrifically awful thing, but....

Keep in mind that these are the same people mentored by the likes of Bill Ayres, who calmly discussed "eliminating" 25,000,000 Americans who could not be convinced to think the way they do.

I would put nothing past them.

While I can't say they did arrange this, I can't say they would not, and one thing is certain: They will milk it inside out to further their agenda: an America incapable of seriously resisting its own overthrow.

How does one do THAT much damage with a handgun? I know Hollywood has explosive rounds in every firearm, but Reality usually doesn't.

For THAT kind of damage, and THAT kill ratio, he must have been pumping multiple rounds into each body (and some took every round to the face to make ID difficult)... but for almost 30 dead, with every body taking multiple rounds, he had to have been carrying many, many clips... too many to carry around unnoticed, one might think.

This is another Beslan cover up ops. We know criminals come, and we knew about this guy. Why did he shoot the school psych first? Something tells me he shot those treating him.

This stuff stinks.

Anyone against the armed defense of these children is criminaly responsible. Ubama is doing the same with nuclear umbrella disarmament. This is a wide precedent of suicide and stupidity that is being sought.

Things that don't add up...

That's common when everyone in the media wants to be the first one to break the sensationalized news......It's easier and faster to print hearsay under the disclaimer "...allegedly" than to wait until all the facts come out and then print the truth.

Usually by then it's second hand news......

We have seen governments just days ago unleash marijuana on society.

Yes, we have. But keep in mind that on the form 4473 there is the (disqualifying) question regarding drug use. At present, there is no record of who bought or used what, with legal sales there could be.

Those who choose to avail themselves of that new ability will find their rights curtailed for having done so (cannot legally purchase a firearm).

While that won't stop all, it would make one think before taking up marijuana use, and might pose an unanticipated side effect for others.

However, I am every bit as concerned about the psychoactive drugs which are routinely prescribed for people who are let loose on their own to maintain their pharmacology when they might pose a credible threat.

The name was not mentioned all through the day and into the evening yesterday, and is still a relative rarity in any mainstream news report, despite some accounts that had him being killed as well.

His name is Peter Lanza. Sites whose credibility might be deemed questionable claim he’s a partner with Ernst & Young in NYC as well as tax director for General Electric in Fairfield, CT.

Is this accurate? Powerful man moving in high level financial circles, if so. This is no middle class family.

If so, this would be a stunning percentage kill-ratio wise for the guy.

Perhaps it's easier to kill a 5 to 10 year old child with a gun shot than an adult.

Anyone at this time talking disarmament and disarmament of the children while in care needs to be tried for complicitness in murders and aiding terrorism, period. We know there are murderers out there, we probably knew this dude was a threat, but we still act stupid and take no measure that the gun owners and self defense people advocate.

it’s impossible to wrap our heads around this.

The only thing we can be sure of is that nothing we’ve been told through the trickle of tweets and “breaking stories” is accurate. The truth is that most of us are normal, rational people and we might not ever get an understandable reason for this because how can any of us understand the rational behind mass slaughter of five and six year old children at close range with handguns.
We might not ever really know because the answers won’t really ever be traceable to rationality.
What has happened to my country. Why do schools need to be armed guarded prisons?

We need to root out the secularists and stand up to the ACLU because they will be the death of us.

I’ve never seen an autistic patient who would be capable of such a high kill ratio.

A 40 lb. kindergartener getting hit with a 9 mm slug is equivalent to an adult being hit with a 1 inch diameter slug. It's more deadly than normal.

It was reported on the news earlier that the school had done a security update earlier this year or last year and that they DID install one of those buzz-in systems. So now there’s no lock on the school door?

So the son of one of the teachers shows up, says he has an important message for his mom, and he gets buzzed in.

Or a guy shows up, and says his family just moved in, and is here to register his kids, and gets buzzed in...

I have been lobbying to have a weapon on campus, so it at least gives us a fighting chance to protect the students.

It sounds cold of me to say so so soon, but that is the direction this has to be pushed.

America has tried the disarmed people zone thing at schools, theaters, malls, and the result invariably has been a target rich environment with little or no opposition for any demented malicious person who pops up.

We know no law can eliminate the guns in the hands of the determined. It has not worked anywhere it has been tried, even to the point of outright bans. Only letting people have a fighting chance to defend themselves and the innocents around them will mitigate the effects of the diabolical, not surrender.

It must be made unthinkable that anyone would even attempt (crazy or not) to harm such as those children--a swift and sure death would be assured.

I am reminded of the movie “Telefon” 1977.

People programmed by a phone call to commit murder.

I am astounded that this 20 year old, mentally dysfunctional, could achieve such a high kill ratio.

And we, who know that the sitting duck routine has to go, and more school personnel need to be armed, cannot be silenced by the wave of anti gun stupidity that is already building. Especially by Dem mayors of cities where multiple people will die by illegal guns before Monday dawns.

We need to be very vocal.

This has happened too many times, in the same way.

Our children cannot be targets, And if the school systems will not protect, then we must.

The politicians and the school libs need to be told to shut up, sit down, and that they have failed once again.

There are evil people in the world, and only resolute force will or can stop them. Not wishful thinking, and certainly not disarming people.

That is why the schools are targets—no one expects armed resistance. That perception and reality has to change.

From Colorado to Connecticut, the shooters have been people on the edge of sanity or being treated for some psychological 'issue'.

I would think engaging these people with some 'friend', well versed in pharmacology and psychology, could yield (for their agenda and a failure) a suicide, or rampaging murderer who had been convinced that any given subset of the population was the enemy and the cause of all their troubles. With someone so unstable to begin with, programming in suicide, or the mere realization of what they had done might finish tidying up the crime.

I wonder if the mother knew of a contact who wanted to stay secret?

Tinfoil? Maybe, but the best defense this administration has had throughout has been the unthinkable size, scope, complexity, and nature of its crimes.

The kill-to-injury ratiơ suggested to me immediately that the shooter was a long time video game player. Those games train the player to be accurate hip shooters. A decade or so ago there was a spate of very young store robbers who shot clerks in the forehead and, after capture, protestations that, "I didn't mean to shoot!" because the killer had been video trained to shoot at the slightest movement. It was unthinking reaction.

The confusion is endemic to immediate reporting as every scrap of half heard information is relayed immediately to the airwaves. That sets up for conspiracy theories as initial reports don’t jibe with each other and more cynicism and skepticism when the final reports don’t explain all the early contradictions and early statements and hurried speculations that are left hanging.

I’ve been wondering about “the guy in the woods” too. He was reported as in custody, and saying “I didn’t do it” I too thought he was the brother, but the brother was questioned I NJ. Who was that guy, and why are’t they even mentioning him now?

Total speculation, but plausible: Guy dressed in camos in the woods surrounding an elementary school, where there are lots of little girls and boys to spy on. A pedophiles playground. Perhaps this guy does this every day to get himself off watching the kiddies and this time, he just so happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

but autistics including Aspberger’s can’t tolerate a lot of disruption to their routines. All the running, screaming, bleeding, dying chaos would virtually paralyze an autistic into inaction with the exception of maybe screaming while head banging. I doubt an autistic could hit a target beyond the first shot.
