It’s actually somewhat amusing how the process works—the transition from complaining that the authorities are not releasing information quickly enough (and the requisite unfounded speculation on all sides) to wondering why the information was inaccurate (and the requisite conspiracy-mongering) is seamless.

If it all turns out to be a bullshit story, than there IS a conspiracy.

How else explain the statements "we are told (by whom?) that .. "

SOMEone says SOMEthing for it to be reported ... or the 'reporters are inventing a story, like that parlor game of making one statement and the next person adds to it .. etc.

Sorry ... I'm either losing my mind .. or there IS something wrong with the picture, and it is intentional.
