vanity - Which state will have the next Democrat African American Senator?

Posted on 12/17/2012 4:12:54 PM PST by SMGFan

As soon as an African American Democrat wins a primary for the rare open senate seat , provided they reach the needed % to avoid a run off ( or the most votes in states not having a run off) then there will an African American Democrat in the Senate.

Better chance of Wahington DC becoming a state.

TOPICS: Society
KEYWORDS:
Maybe Cory Booker will replace Lautenberg in NJ? Or will Rob Andrews defeat him in a fair primary.

You would think that “ Mini Me “ Deval Patrick could find a qualified person of COLOR in Ma. Instead of Teddy’s 2nd wife or the Tank riding Ex Gov.

Got a couple of other questions. How many African/Muslim countries are free republics? How many are NOT dictatorships?

If John Kerry, who was in Viet Nam, becomes Secretary of State will there be an election or an appointment? I heard that the Democrats are worried that Scott Brown could win the seat and get back into the Senate.

You seem to forget that our new senior senator, Lieawatha, is an Indian Princess. So we got that “person of color” thing covered already. (We know it’s true; her Mee Maw told her so...)

Well, Harvard bought it...

Not quite there yet, that’s what the second term (or more) is for. Dis-arm, destroy and re-distribute.

No more free, no more republic.

I heard that the Democrats are worried that Scott Brown could win the seat and get back into the Senate.

Why would the democrats have anything to worry about?

Scott Brown might have the "R" label, but, what part of his says he's republican?

He is only a republican when the Rs vote in unison for or against an issue, but, independently, he's a "D".

He's valuable to us when the Rs and the Ds are totaled for control, or lack of control, of the senate, and right now, he's not that useful.

My impression is that whoever he appoints is a placeholder until HE himself can run for the seat. So the answer is Massachusetts.
