I just went from wondering “What the devil is a ‘Raspberry Pi’?” to “How quickly can those blokes in LimeyLand get one to W(BG)Va?”
from “Allied Electric” (retailer): “*Please note that due to extreme demand and short supply, the estimated delivery time is uncertain and will likely take several months. We do regret the delay and inconvenience this may cause.”

(Western Civilization is Aborting, Buggering, and Contracepting itself out of existence.)
I ordered mine from Newark http://www.newark.com/
and it took a little over a month, but less time than they quoted. The pis are constantly on backorder. They are selling faster than the manufacturer makes them.
I ordered mine from MCM electronics. It arrived in a week. I LOVE this thing. I even built the LEGO case for it, based on plans you can download from the Raspberry Pi support site.
